I’m so miserable here and don’t get paid enough for this. I’m a CEM.
I started off as a seasonal cashier almost 4 years ago and was PTSL for almost two years then the CEM for the past year…. I’m so exhausted. My DM sends our SM to other stores all the time she is Not a TSM. Our MM does barely anything and does it as slow as possible. He refuses to learn anything. I tell him things multiple times and he still never does it and will just say he doesn’t understand. Freight is always behind… we still have freight from last week and we never catch up. We have multiple cashiers call offs every week… I’ve been doing the Halloween set mostly by myself…. I’m doing all the hiring. I’ve been having to work on schedules . Alliance alarts. Observations. Training new hires… doing the store calls, recovery. And then my DM it’s just giving random busy work of whole plan I have to write because are emails aren’t good enough…. Are whole district is struggling and we are number 4 in ares. We are hitting over 30% everyday. I don’t know how I’m supposed to be the CEM, MM, SM at once.🤨

After not having a shift for a whole month, I messaged our group chat, called the manager a vindictive bitch and left the chat. That was my 2 week notice. I've never left a company so fast, I made it a month.

Don’t burn yourself out. You are already there. If they want you to keep doing these things they need to pay you for them. I keep seeing more employers add more responsibility but not more pay and as long as we keep letting them do this it’s going to keep happening. Stand up for yourself or you will be permanently damaged. I did the same thing and ran myself into the ground for a company who didn’t care once I ended up with chronic hand pain in my dominant hand…from overwork.

I wouldn't just leave, but I would have a back up plan. Talk to someone higher up and ask for more pay since your going above and beyond in your current position. Let them know the jobs your doing. I think that kind of happens quite a bit when your in that type of work, but if your truly doing a good job and working your butt off, it's not going to hurt to ask for a raise and a title change. They aren't going to want to loose you and you seem dedicated based on how long you have already been there. Maybe that would change how you feel about working there and you'll decide to stay.

The whole company is in shambles. New CEO is terrible. Old founders gone. Even ole Georgi porgi was no match for her. Look to the leadership in the company. Dms are pawns.
