Broke a nail a couple months ago,
After trying finger picks,realized that you really need a perfect fit. Playing is something that takes decades to fine tune to your own anatomy, so imagine how much more important that becomes with a prosthesis.
they need to be as tailored as possible to your own anatomy and playing style. The difference is night and day.
I made my own Alaska Pik using CPVC tube, and a bit of cutting. made a mold of my finger and thermoformed the CPVC around it, and the result was a perfectly customized fit. It worked perfectly fr!
