My pumpkins are being eaten before they fully turn color. Any recommendations? Can I pick early and let it ripen on the countertop or will it stop ripening once picked? First time growing these bad boys.

Shampoo ginger. It’s on the otherside of the fence in a bunch of thorny blackberries. Had to cut and harvest once instead of coming back repeatedly. Just shy of 1 cup from all 3 heads. Not bad .

So a few days ago, my husband had me Google image search what was happening with some of the leaves on our Vitex tree. Purple spotting turning dead. Google said it was rust due to the sprinklers, hitting it in the mornings and then the humid area. (We’re in zone 9b). And that I needed to spray it with the Captain Jack’s copper spray. A few days later, it looks like the whole tree is dying!

Should I cut all the leaves off, should I cut all the branches off, what to do what to do?

A year ago, this garden was thriving. It has sat un-cared for since due to family illness. I want to get it cleaned up so I can bring it back this fall but don’t even know where to start. Advice? Tips? Any help is appreciated.

I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions for a good Florida native hedge. I had previously kept a waist to chest high clusia hedge along the border on my non screened pool and the yard and trimmed it once a year. It worked well for both keeping things from blowing into the pool and giving a tropical privacy screen while swimming. Unfortunately this past frost killed off everything and it doesn’t looks like it will recover. Once the weather cools I am thinking I will replace it with something pollinator friendly and Florida native. I’d like for it to be something I can keep 3-5 feet easily and that obviously won’t be overly messy since it’s by a pool. I’m in zone 10a on the edge of 9b and have considered dwarf firebush or maybe Simpson’s stopper.

Does anyone have any ideas for something that would fit this scenario?

Three 10 gallon grow bags yielded 28 lbs of sweet potatoes. About half a dozen in the 3 lb range. Best harvest of three years trying to grow.

Question: can I freeze as is or should I cook them somehow before freezing?

Does anyone have a tabebuia roseo-alba tree (white trumpet tree/Ipe Branco tree) or know someone who does and can sell the seeds? I really want to grow this tree from seeds however I can't find a US seller who sells the seeds for this exact species of tabebuia.
