With all the sweats in this season im seriously considering dropping the gane this season. I dont want to just play creative mode and battle Royale matches are just filled with sweats so how are people still playing it when its this bad?

First off, if you like the way the skins look, that's fine, good on you even. We all have our opinions and were entitled to them. I’m here to share mine, you're here to share yours, there should be no reason both opinions can’t co-exist.

X lady.

Unlike some people's criticism of the skin, I’m perfectly fine with it being a girl version. Helmet and jacket look cool, hope those get on/off toggles, still annoyed we're still doing crop tops with most female skins, but hey, I would be willing to look the other way for this instance if she had muscles that X lord. The last time we had a girl skin that had muscles was back in chapter 5 season 3 with the cinder skin.

If you're going to remix a skin that has abs and muscles, use them in said remix.

The Omega knight remix.

Not really a lot to say about it. It seems to be a remix of Spectra Knight from chapter OG, so I can’t say anything about it unless it drops and isn’t as customizable as Spectra Knight.

Catalyst remix.

First off, crop top and booty shorts, again. I’m sorry, it's been done so many times that it feels like a default that they turn to. Not sure how I feel about the hair coming out of the top of the mask rather than just coming out from one of the sides, but the most important thing to me is the missing jacket. The everything that made both catalyst and drift stand out and look as good as they did.

I’m willing to give epic the benefit of the doubt and hope this is just stage 2 (its stage 2 going if were going off of the original catalyst skin, but stage 3 for drift) and going to hope that this version has all the stages that drift has that catalyst doesn't ( aka base - stage 4. Imagine if Epic added a drift remix that lacked these, that would be silly 0_0 ) and it gets the other colors that catalyst has instead of just one or the other. (Imagine if a rift remix didn’t even have a color variant for the original or the original drift remix, that would be stupid… 0_0 )

I've started playing Fortnite when it first released for the PlayStation 4 years ago and only started buying Battle Passes when it was Chapter 1 Season 3.

Me and my friends played it a lot and I got my two nephews into it, to the point we played all the time, especially when they came to sleepover. We'd have a blast hanging out and playing together, to the point we even tried making a Kool Aid drink to look like a big shield potion one time lol. I always remember how fun the Summer and Halloween events were, and I always remembered the Marshmello event as well, over at Pleasant Park with the bounce pads and all. This was peak Fortnite (for me, anyway) and I always had lots of respect for Epic Games at the time. I enjoyed Fortnite a lot and always loved the art style and gameplay of it, even though I'm not exactly the best player out there (I kinda suck, but lol)

I remember being so hyped up for Chapter 2, and when it came out, it was like a whole new game. Because honestly, it kinda was. It still felt good though, it wasn't in a negative way.

Now as the chapters go on, I can see the game deteriorating. Which, yeah, the game has been out for a long time and it's a given, but this is a different kind of deteriorating.

First, all I ever see is cross-over content. I mean, I like it as much as the next guy. But I feel like that's all it really is now. It's even gotten to the point we have a cross-over with a Roblox game of all things (99 Nights in the Forest). That's pretty bad, especially given how Roblox's reputation already is. If I were them, I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole, but they did anyway for... whatever reason.

And second, every day I come on Reddit, I see *countless* posts of bugs, varying between hitboxes, broken lockers where people can't change skins, sprites glowing from far away, ragdolling being broken, even landing on the game cartridge which causes people to be stuck and dying in the storm, unable to shoot or use a shockwave. Even something as simple as a bug where you can't see cosmetic names and descriptions didn't get fixed yet and it's been there for months.

I know it's like beating a dead horse at this point, but it's just factual; the worst thing they could've done was fire those 1000 people, and it's blatantly obvious.

I always enjoyed Fortnite and looked forward to their Battle Passes and events, but with everything going on in the recent years, it's just been downhill and this is about the lowest I've ever seen the game. To me, it's actually kind of depressing to witness, especially since the game has a special place in my heart with how many memories I've made in it. From playing with my nephews when they were younger, to playing with friends and goofing off in Battle Lab, Playgrounds and Creative mode.

This is just a general vent-type post, not hating on the game, devs or anything. It's just how I feel about the state of the game. I'm sure others out there could agree with me on it as well. Hopefully things start picking back up and things get back in order.

Yes, I understand genderbent skins have been in the shop for ages, plague and scourge, raven and ravage, rex and saura.... And I have no problem with them, because they're SHOP skins

But for an og pass that is supposed to honor a season and it's characters, I feel like it's a disrespect to x lord letting him out and putting his sister Bethany on the pass

Worst of all, there is not a single rust lord shop skin, except for Balenciaga rust lord, which has an ugly mohawk thing on his helmet, and roast lord, who is from a real money pack that just skipped its yearly summer rotation so who knows when it'll return

And the skin they selected? The whole point of X lord is that he's a jacked dude without a shirt. That's it, that's what makes the whole character. Guess what? A women can't be a shirtless jacked dude because woman can't be shirtless on a kids game. So it breaks the whole character design.

They could've genderbent ultima knight or the scientist SINCE THE POINT OF THEIR DESIGNS IS NOT BEING SHIRTLESS JACKED DUDES

But you know what? I'd forgive it's existence IF IT WASN'T SUCH A BORE

THAT'S IT, THE PROBLEM WITH THIS REMIX, IT HAS NOTHING MILDLY INTERESTING. That's why I don't have a problem with synthesis, because at least that design is INTERESTING and keeps all the things that made hybrid ICONIC

No tattoos, no muscles, no long hoodie, a pointless braid coming out of the helmet that looks HORRIBLE, no shirtless jacked dude, NOTHING

JUST GIVE ME AN X LORD WITH NOTHING

Not only did they skip rust lord on HIS season, but now that they have the chance to actually put him in it's not even him but his sister Bethany

And it hurts me, since the lineup had so much potential, they picked 3 of the 4 best skins they could've picked, but they had to fuck it up somehow

Oh and don't get me started on the catalyst WITHOUT A COAT, THE SECOND MOST ICONIC THING ON A FOX CLAN MEMBER BEHIND THE OBVIOUS FOX MASK

So yeah, I'll be waiting til the magma masters pack rotates back into the shop so I can finally have a true rust lord remix and an omega remix since I'm still pissed they chose two boring normal girls with boring normal clothes over a badass Viking with a monster skeleton for head

With how they handled the latest OG seasons (not many trailers anymore, no big news blog updates on their website, just less fanfare and marketing in general) I think that user CrimsonFireWolf is right in that we are going to see a huge reset at the end of the year. Maybe as big as the Metaverse thing happening in chapter 5.

It could be a good thing for the game, maybe they are going to dial it in and really put a focus on Battle Royale and just a few modes, try to go back to it's roots. Either way I don't see them continuing going into chapter 2 OG.

Tired of people slide kicking and ruining my pre-lobby fun, would love if there was a way to see who they are and hopefully find and take revenge once the game started.

if a glider, when deployed your character will pull out a walkie-talkie (or whatever killdroid uses) to send in a kill bot to grab onto. Man leveling up Klombo was the worst experience ever! I know it's been a million post about how Sprites doesn't feel the same as last season and I feel the same. It took me about 3 or 4 matches to level him up. Shoutout to someone posting about this and suggested Chug Jugs! This was waaay worse than leveling up the Crown Sprites which I have all 3 of those mastered. I can't see me doing this for the other Klombo variants. I hope they patch this and make it easier to level them up. 🫤

so I was in zb, at the cartridge area in case it ever came, and I shot and I was healing as the guard was walking around AND THEY PULLED OUT AN 8BIT and started shooting. Then their skin changed and when they killed me, they became me! What kinda new fangled hacks are these

i think you can tell ... i was slightly fuming ... just that 1xp ... and then i fuck up with this landing .... sigh.

you can see see how they used to look in the gifting and refund menu, even with new cosmetics. it still looks way better than what we have now.

We've had cute characters like Nyanja but no human male.
