Stephanie and Kimmy fancy themselves amateur detectives, the guys' infomercial for Jesse's hairspray helmet goes completely off the rails and Jodie and Andrea defend Stephanie's snooping ways while debating whether Kimmy is a genius or a menace. (spoiler: as usual, she's both)

My roommate has recently been rewatching Full House, which is a nostalgic show growing up. I never watched it growing up, and I get nothing out of it. For context, I'm a straight, white man in my thirties and plenty of other shows of that era, I got into as an adult, such as Cheers and The Golden Girls, but I just never watched the TGIF family kind of sitcoms. Watching this as an adult, it feels even more sanitized than early 2000s Disney Channel fare and it just isn't my kind of show
My question is whether there's a contingent of the fanbase who only discovered the show as an adult and absolutely adores it, or is it a "nostalgia or nothing" sort of show? I promise I intend absolutely no shame to any diehard fans, I'm really just curious.

we saw that photo of the original full house cast with John Posey , the actress that played pam and the 3 girls. Since pam doesn't die in this scenario there's no need for Joey or Jesse we know in the original show even with their help they were barely able to deal with babysitting for 3 girls.
So if it was just pam and Danny and we know danny is pretty busy with the talk show could pam have handled 3 daughters by herself?
What do you think?

My Stephanie Tanner wedding fantasy came true without the peer pressure of the show, lol and news reporters .. ughđ¤Śđźââď¸
all because of stephanie⌠loll jkjk !!!!!
i remember loving that episode as a kid and i find it hilarious that i got âmarriedâ in 3rd grade with a ring I BROUGHT INTO SCHOOL after seeing the episode (not immediately after but even now when i think back on it i think of that episode)
whatâs even funnier is there were news reporters there that day during recess (us out playing on the playground)((they were reporting something else)) oh and i brought in a huge ring lolllll

John was asked about his favorite early memories of Jodie and this is what he had to say.

Now before people complain about the age gap....
Danny is 33 and the college girl kirsten in the episode is 21.

Jesse feels like he's being given too much responsibility and no privacy but I wondered if Jesse and Danny ever had a discussion of how long Jesse was supposed to help out.
Of course Jesse loves his nieces and stick around but if we are being realistic here no way Jesse doesn't set timeline for Danny?
What do you think?

or would this have been too much for a family sitcom in 1987? because in san francisco of the same time period violent crime was spiking up a lot in addition to the crack epidemic that was happening in real life.
what do you think?

Of course like any sitcom it has to end on a happy note and reset as the family convince Joey to stay
But realistically...Joey was a laughingstock after what they did to him telling that police officer all the embarrassing things that Joey had done from season 1-5.
Joey threatened to move out on his own do you think Joey would have been in the right if he did that?
What do you think?

I found this photo of the Full House female cast at Candace's baby shower, crazy how time flies at that baby is about to have a baby
