Go to deepmind.google/models/gemini and watch the icons for a minute. Every single card has a glowing animated icon. The Flash and Flash Lite ones loop perfectly smooth. The 3.1 Pro one flickers, the glow just cuts out for a moment and then fades back in, on a loop, over and over. I checked this across different browsers and it happens every time, so it's not a local caching or GPU thing on my end.

What gets me is which card this is happening on. This is literally the page where Gemini 3.5 Pro has been sitting under a "coming soon" badge for months now, past its original I/O target, with reports of it being pushed back over training and coding performance issues. Now the animation on that exact card, the flagship Pro line, is the one visibly broken while everything else on the page works fine.

Is that just a coincidence, some CSS or asset loading issue nobody bothered to fix, or does it maybe hint that the Pro line isn't getting the same attention right now as Flash is? Has anyone seen Google acknowledge this anywhere? And does anyone know if that icon is a short video loop or a Lottie/CSS animation, since that would change what kind of bug this even is?

Why would i want to make my limit even shorter

I just got the new Gemini Animation today.

I’m working on a little project to benchmark how vision-language models do with classifying grappling techniques. These results are the vanilla models without any fine-tuning, so it’s sort of hit or miss. I’m sure with enough data, the guesses can get pretty accurate. If any of you fellow grapplers who are engineers are interested in playing around with this, I’d be happy to open source it. 

Even though we ALL know Gemini 3.7 flash is DUMB. REALLY dumb, we still use it on antigravity because we got it with free pro subscription, we don't complain how bad it is because hey its free.

Say if you have a complex life scenario or interpersonal relationship or raised by bad faith guardians with some parts contradicting with your actual lived reality, Gemini 3.7 Flash will straight up stop answering and will become robotic. Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite, earlier versions of Gemini Flash, and Gemini 3.1 Pro are simply better at handling nuance instead of being so black and white. It seems like there are so many safety filters but Reddit kept on defending Gemini 3.7.

First of all, 3.7 Flash does perform better on the Arena.ai.
On the Arc Prize as well, 3.7 Flash is much more cost effective and also has better absolute performance.

After a Week of Planning and Debugging I have Made an App Using the New Gemini 3.7 Flash Model . Its not just a prototype Anymore I Exclusively wanted to see how far can Gemini Models go .
Therefore, I let the Gemini decide all the architectural decisions, all the database operations, and all the Feature Engineering Tasks upon it.
I did not give any long-running tasks or some 3-4-hour plan to create it. It's a Flash model, so it won't work that way, even though Google claims its their workhorse model. The Flash will be the Flash. It cannot run longer like pro or big GPT models.

All I wanted was to test - how accurate and how good it can make my idea true.

Features of My App:

• The rep counting feature using A pose Detection Model (Google MEdiaPipe) .
• A game where the app detects the user's movement in real time and uses that as an input inside the game

It's not something out of the blue, not something unique, but doing all the These things and connecting each and everything properly without any errors is a constant and tiring task. Debugging the codebase and finding out errors, crashes, or anything takes a lot of time and effort and for the first time, I'm seeing Gemini work this well. It just doesn't execute faster now. It makes fewer mistakes compared to before.

The full video will be out soon about what I actually made. All I can say now is that my Debugging time has reduced comparitievely more from before.
