New to the AI scene and learning what works and what does not.
1. In order to get reliable feedback and help with questions, is a personal account required?
2. If I create an account, will my chats be saved for future reference?
3. Does the whole Gemini learn from my questions/prompts, or does the info live in my individual account?

Title. Just disappeared for some reason. Gem chats still show up normally on desktop, but not on the iOS app. Even when I pin the chat, nothing changes.

I tried to uninstall, log out, restart iPhone. Nothing helped.

Anyone have that same problem?

We run prompts against a few different providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, some stuff through OpenRouter). Every so often something quietly gets worse, the output quality drops, a prompt that worked starts returning junk, or a model gets deprecated and the replacement behaves differently.

Right now we mostly catch it by accident: someone notices, or a customer complains. That feels bad on us, a lot.

How do you all handle this? Do you re-run some kind of fixed eval set on a schedule? Just eyeball it? Have something that alerts you?

Any insights I could use?

I think I should start from the point that English is my fourth language. I use it all the time for my academic work, especially to help me navigate through literature and works of poetry in many languages through translation.

From time to time, I come across the problem that English translation is so dense that I cannot figure it out. At this point, I wouldn't give it through AI, something like Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT, and I requested that it be translated, preserving the tone and the meaning, into my own language.

It was okay until I came across a problem that somehow just got into a pandemic in different AI models. Every single one of them says that, due to copyright regulations, we cannot translate the full text of that poem, and it's just a pain in the ass. I'm kindly requesting if there is a solution to that, and if you have one, please consider sharing.

Over the last few weeks - Gemini (which I have to use for work) has been completely losing track of conversations from one chat prompt to the next in the same conversation. Happens over multiple threads, gems or not gems, etc. It occasionally did this before but I can hardly get through an interaction now without it completely going amnesic on me. Often it may be a follow up to an output but it isn't consistently the case.

Looking for other people's approaches here. My problem: I ask for any longer piece, a report, a deck, a proposal, and Gemini just starts writing the whole thing immediately. Then it's committed to a structure I didn't agree to and reworking it is a pain.

What's sort of working for me is forcing a checkpoint. I literally start with "before you write anything, give me only the outline, headers and one line each, and stop. Do not write the body until I approve the outline." The "and stop" part matters, without it it writes the outline and then barrels into the full draft anyway.

Once I tweak the outline and say go, the final draft is way closer to what I wanted because we agreed on the skeleton first.

Feels obvious writing it out but it took me a while to figure out that the fix was making it pause, not making it smarter. Anyone have a better way to keep it on a leash for structured docs?

After a Week of Planning and Debugging I have Made an App Using the New Gemini 3.7 Flash Model . Its not just a prototype Anymore I Exclusively wanted to see how far can Gemini Models go .
Therefore, I let the Gemini decide all the architectural decisions, all the database operations, and all the Feature Engineering Tasks upon it.
I did not give any long-running tasks or some 3-4-hour plan to create it. It's a Flash model, so it won't work that way, even though Google claims its their workhorse model. The Flash will be the Flash. It cannot run longer like pro or big GPT models.

All I wanted was to test - how accurate and how good it can make my idea true.

Features of My App:

• The rep counting feature using A pose Detection Model (Google MEdiaPipe) .
• A game where the app detects the user's movement in real time and uses that as an input inside the game

It's not something out of the blue, not something unique, but doing all the These things and connecting each and everything properly without any errors is a constant and tiring task. Debugging the codebase and finding out errors, crashes, or anything takes a lot of time and effort and for the first time, I'm seeing Gemini work this well. It just doesn't execute faster now. It makes fewer mistakes compared to before.

The full video will be out soon about what I actually made. All I can say now is that my Debugging time has reduced comparitievely more from before.

Hey everyone, I am facing some problems with my Gemini conversations. I can't util any Gemini conversation or have a continuous conversation with my Gemini it keeps getting disconnected to the point where I just have to type stuff and then ask it. Cannot reach to go and I can't even use the voice assistant typing to type messages any Google assistant or any voice recognition feature I cannot use it it keeps getting disconnected. If I continue a shared Gemini conversation, or share a conversation myself, is any private data/metadata shared with it? Ie, am I anonymous, other than anything in the content of the conversation of course.
