Kitten Stuff (Important)

Kitten, about 4-5 days old, aprox 3-4 inches in length, eyes are still dark blue, very light weight, and obviously not fed. I have it right now trying to keep it warm before further issues arise. Blood pressure must be low enough already.

I have no KMR or ingredients to make a temporary replacement just for tomorrow. Warmth is all I can give before it dies. I have no idea who I can bring it to at a time like this, but I'm in Anna Regina.

Have you checked any wildlife rehabber/pet rescue sites yet to see if there's anything you can provide until you get the right food?

Thanks, I have, the temporary milk replacement was one of them

If you can, get the high calorie paste when you’ve gotten the milk. It’s called Nutri-cal, and your kitten may need it for blood sugar. (It’s an extreme emergency situation if using this on a cat this small and young. You would rub a drop the size of a matchstick head along the kitten’s gums smoothly).

I wish I could be of more help but I’m unsure where these locations are in proximity to Anna Regina. I tried to find out more info, here are some resources: Rosewood Foundation , Tails of Hope- Animal Rescue and Paws for A Cause - Guyana. Hopefully one of these organizations can direct you somewhere, because that kitten needs KMR or even goat milk fast. (People in the US sometimes use it as a supplement).

The best thing you can do is travel to town to a vet. If not, just pray.
