We're getting closer to having the team back together.

This is my pencil drawing, inspired by the proud history of the Montreal Canadiens, "Les Habitants", and their strong fanbase.  I tried to capture the feeling of being a Habs fan on game day as fans walk toward both The Montreal Forum (left) and the Bell Centre (right).  

Ghosted in the sky above the two arenas are seven of the many legendary players that have captured the hearts of Habs' fans since their inaugural season in 1909.  From left to right: Jacques Plante (inventor of the first Goalie Mask), Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Jean Beliveau, Henri "The Pocket-Rocket" Richard (winner of 11 Stanley Cups - more than any other player in NHL history!), Ken Dryden, Guy Lafleur and Patrick Roy.  

Fan jersey numbers pay tribute to these players as well as many more of the greatest to ever don a Habs jersey.  

Note that the fan wearing Serge Savard's number 18 is paying tribute to Savard's "Spin-o-rama" (yes, Serge Savard did it first, not Denis; a popular misconception).

One fan's jacket also pays tribute to Montreal's league leading 24 Stanley Cups; truly a proud, rich history!  

In the left foreground stands a statue of Howie Morenz, also known as the "Stratford Streak" and "Mitchell Meteor", the Canadien's first superstar.  

A young fan paying homage to Doug Harvey, one of the greatest defensemen to ever play the game, brings his Youppi! doll to help him cheer.

Am I missing something or has there not been any official announcement as it relates to the rest of the games (Rumored to be on TVA Sport, sadly)?

Season is about a month away and still no news...

Should we hope for an in house solution that doesn't involve TVA Sport at all?

I found out a couple months ago that my dog, Gallagher, has 2-4 months to live. I’m grateful that he is still with us now but I'm very sad that I have to say goodbye to both Gallaghers in my life this year. I got this tattoo to remember him and personalized it to have the Habs symbol in the place of the ‘E’ as I named him after Brendan 8 years ago. I will probably try to get tickets for Gallagher’s first game back in Montreal as it would be very special to me.

For those interested, Dom (The Athletic) published this fantasy draft list today. If I add up the goalie wins it puts us at 94 points. We will see what his final projection is later in the offseason but it gives us an idea. 5 players with 70+ points and 13 with 10 goals or more sounds nice though.
