I'm looking for a friend I made back on 2021 (around 5 years ago now).

We met on instagram and we were both from thw art community, we bonded for months and became incredibly close but insta shut down her account. I do not want to share a lot of her personal info but she would've been 20 now, she had a cat named Nao and lived in Hong Kong her whole life as far as I know.

If anyone recognizes her art and could tell me if they know ANYTHING about what has happened to her or what she is up to I would deeply appreciate it. I'm not sure if she even remembers me but we were so dear to each other.

I know this is a stretch but it's killed me for years now and I miss her so so much :(.

Hong Kong Tiananmen vigil activists Chow Hang-tung and Lee Cheuk-yan were convicted of incitement to subversion under a Beijing-imposed national security law earlier this month. Chow submitted a mitigation statement to the court last Friday, though was not allowed to read the full statement aloud.

前香港眾志秘書長黃之鋒（29歲）目前正就民主派初選案服刑，但法庭將於明（2日）就其另一宗「串謀勾結外國或者境外勢力危害國家安全」罪判刑。黃之鋒自2020年12月因反修例運動「包圍警總案」而被判囚，其後又被加控多項政治控罪，刑期不斷累積，至今已不見天日2,100天。有前立法會議員分析，黃之鋒被北京視為在香港「興風作浪」的三大領袖之一，而早前初選案「判刑未夠份量」，因此才會「屈多條罪」；另有學者指出，黃之鋒具國際影響力，若讓其重獲自由，港府怕他在國際上的發言會威脅到中國對香港的「全面管治權」。

黃之鋒是《國安法》生效後第二宗被控串謀勾結罪，根據條文，一經定罪，可判監3年以上、10 年以下；但若屬「罪行重大」，則可判囚10年以上至終身。串謀勾結首案的黎智英則被法庭判定為「罪行重大」而以15年為量刑起點，最終被重判20年。

法庭明日將處理黃之鋒的答辯及判刑，由高院法官譚耀豪審理。譚在2024年出任法官前，曾任律政司副刑事檢控專員，並參與支聯會案，他離任後，案件由副刑事檢控專員黎嘉誼接手。黃之鋒則由大律師司徒子朗代表，兩人過去曾在雨傘運動分別代表學民思潮及學聯首度合作，司徒子朗後來更曾擔任前眾志立法會議員羅冠聰的助理。

前立法會議員單仲偕：國安或認為初選案「判刑未夠份量」 再對黃「屈多條罪」

對於黃之鋒接連被控及判監，前立法會議員單仲偕向本台分析，時任中央港澳工作領導小組組長韓正曾在2020至2021年間一個內部會議上，特別點名黎智英、戴耀廷及黃之鋒3人在香港「興風作浪」，必須處理，因此才會有這一連串政治審判。

單又指，在北京眼中，黃之鋒在年輕一輩有影響力，甚至曾登上《時代雜誌》封面人物，因此必須「擒賊先擒王，槍打出頭鳥」。他推測國安系統認為早前初選案的「判刑未夠份量」，因此才會為黃之鋒「屈多條罪」。

葉錦龍：黃之鋒海內外形象正面 是一個轉數快、行動力高的「小毒毒」

神奈川大學亞洲研究中心客席研究員葉錦龍則認為，黃之鋒自小參與社運，政治上的形象正面，不論在本地或海外都具有高度影響力。他相信北京和港府擔心讓他重獲自由後，他在香港或海外的言論，會對目前的「愛國者治港」、「全面管治權」帶來更大威脅，因此才會不斷延長他的關押期。

葉錦龍又提到自己與黃之鋒相識多年，對於中共視黃為「大魔頭」，葉笑指在他眼中，黃之鋒只是一個喜歡動漫，但轉數很快的「小毒毒」（宅男）。他認為或許是黃之鋒在政治倡議和社運行動中的「高轉數」和行動力，政權才會把他視為死敵。

初選案服刑期間被加控 交付審判程序不公開而關注度低

黃之鋒於2024年11月就初選案，被法庭判處4年8個月，原定最快下年1月獲釋，惟去年6月突再被律政司以《國安法》加控「串謀勾結外國或者境外勢力危害國家安全」罪。案情指他於2020年《國安法》生效後的7月1日至11月23日期間，在香港與羅冠聰及其他身份不詳的人一同串謀，要求外國制裁中國和香港。

案件於去年6月6日首度提堂，其後於9月5日、11月21日、今年3月6日及5月14日進行交付高院程序，受制於《裁判官條例》及《維護國家安全條例》（俗稱23條）的限制，傳媒不得報道交付程序內容，因此輿論就黃之鋒這宗串謀勾結案的關注和討論度亦有限。

串謀勾結前已為5案服刑

翻查資料，黃之鋒自2020年12月便先後因5宗案件開始被囚禁。他首先因2019年6月的包圍警總案而被判監13.5個月，至其刑期第4個月（2021年4月），再被法庭判他於2019年違反《蒙面犯》而加監4個月；一個月後，他又因2020年的六四集會未經批准集結案而再被判監10個月，上訴後扣減兩個月。至2022年3月，黃之鋒雖然已完成上述三案的刑期，但隨即又因初選案而被還押候審；至2023年又因公開2019年西灣河開槍關姓警員的資料，被裁定藐視法庭而判監3個月。2024年11月，法庭就初選案對其判監4年8個月。

至於同樣被控串謀勾結的羅冠聰於《國安法》生效前夕已離港，並於2021年獲英國批出政治庇護，同年12月，他被廉署通緝，稱他涉嫌煽惑他人不投票；2024年6月12日，保安局根據《23條》對其懸紅100萬港元通緝。
