Discussion There really needs to be a 'build nothing ' feature
In the endgame there really needs to be an ability to do something like that. It's kind of annoying to be unable just set cities to something repeatable when you have built everything

In the UI section of the settings, you can turn off the "enable mandatories" option to let you finish turns without active projects, but this also includes army moves and research, so you won't get prompted for those either (it also applies to the whole game so you have to change it back for new saves)

I understand, what I would also add is a button to improve administrative centers every time you move up in age or conquer another city.

it's pretty easy near the end of the game to just queue up a bunch of stuff that doesn't require you to click on the map.. I can't remember what the game calls it.. but stuff like Factories, whale fishing, etc.. Even if they don't help you, you can fill up the queue with stuff like that. You can also try to race to build as many wonders as you can in the last era.. yes, it takes time to set every city to build that wonder, but not too bad.

There are a lot of repeatable projects that boost faith, influence, money, science etc and are unlocked at various eras.
