2025 Svartpilen 801 Left grip moves

Hi, just wondering if anyone with an 801 has this issue. Left grip moves 3 mm clockwise and 3 mm counter clockwise. It is a bit unnerving when riding, feels like it could come off. Is it supposed to be like that?

There is a lil screw hidden under the rubber part you can tighten. I had the same issue and when swapping to heated grips I found the screw. By tightening it you should be able to solve the issue

Same thing happened when I installed heated grips on my Svartpilen 701. Tightened the screw and it’s been rock solid ever since.

Is it the rubber part, or the whole plastic tube also? if its the same as my norden (plastic tube), peel back the rubber at right side (closest to your dash) and there is a little screw you can tighten; mine got loose a few times whilst I owned that bike.

If its the rubber grip directly on the handlebar, you can put some wire around it to hold it tighter (super common on dirt bikes), or put some (gentle glue, like boating silicone) after removing and putting back on again.

Same on the vitpilen 801… It doesn’t seem right, although it’s not been an issue while riding. I’ll get that checked when I do my first sevice 🤷🏾‍♂️

My 2024 left grip might move 1mm in either direction but completely unnoticeable while riding. I'd talk to the dealer
