I’ve been hydrating wrong my entire life
I just came back from a failed doctors appointment. They missed my veins twice. Got asked if I’m drinking enough water and I said I was…
Now I know I wasn’t.
I’ve been drinking, or more like “chugging” around 500 ml of water every 6 hours. Now I heard I’m supposed to have tiny sips of water throughout the day, like, huh? No wonder everytime I drink water, after 10 minutes I’ve to hit the bathroom.
I never see people with bottles of water anywhere, casually sipping water every 10 minutes.
How do I hydrate!? If I drink too much at once, my body just filters it and to the toilet it goes. I can’t micromanage sips of water every 10 minutes. Is my bottle to blame? It’s a mizu aluminum one, nothing fancy.
I’m not here for the “why don’t you google” comments. I’m asking humans, not a machine, thank you. Yes I’m dumb, no need to call me out, thanks.

Good to be hydrated 💧
I spent a lot of time this summer camping/working in camp like settings. I was lucky to have free access to good and clean water the entire time I was away, but I had been truly longing for my first cup of water upon returning home... ice cold, thick plastic cup. A refreshing welcome on a beautiful day! 🙏🫶

Water Bottle Wednesday Looking for water bottles that open up in the middle!
Hi! I'm hoping to find an insulated water bottle that opens up in the middle for easy cleaning. I used to have one from Starbucks, but lost it some years ago.
Here's a photo of a similar bottle, also from Starbucks; sadly they no longer carry this style of bottle in any of their new collections. I'm looking to get something like this again because I'm tired of buying a billion tools to get the bottom of my current bottle clean.
Please let me know if you have anything in mind!

I don’t feel thirsty
I’m like a camel. I only drink things for the effect like energy drinks, coffee, alcohol etc. I am basically never thirsty. I know I’m dehydrated because my pee is dark yellow and I sometimes feel bad in general, but it seems like reaching for a glass of water is harder than being dehydrated. I’ve been like this for as long as I can remember and think it may be genetic (grandpa and dad were the same way). The best method I’ve come up with to drink more water is to say 3.. 2… 1…. And just chug a glass which is very unpleasant. Anyways, I need help…

New rig
Rate the new rig homies. 1.1 litre capacity and 24hr cooling time. The H2O you see in pic 3 is fresh from the tap / mountains here in Wales.
Thermos are the GOAT.

Too much water Am I hydrating wrong?
First of all I LOVE water. I live in a city that has one of the cleanest waters in the entire world and it tastes absolutely awesome but after reading a recent thread I am a bit confused. So what I do is I drink like 500ml in the morning then maybe an hour or two passes and then I drink another 500ml. I do this every day and I get to around maybe 3-4L of water every day. If I go to the gM its even more. Is that too much? Honestly I love drinking water and I do get a full stomach when I drink too much sometimes but tbh its worth it cus I feel thirsty a lot of the time for some reason. Thought this was normal tho.
Thanks!

Crud inside new contigo lid?
I'm not sure where else to ask since the company is no help, but I figure some of you might have this bottle!
I purchased two 32 oz Contigo Jackson Chill 2.0 Stainless Steel Water Bottles with autopop lids
from Coleman. Both arrived with labels still attached and appeared new, EXCEPT there's this weird black and grey/beige crud around the silicone seal thing in the cap? I contacted contigo and they were basically like oh, well, file a warrantly claim. Which is fine, but I don't want to repurchase and get the same issue again. Its kind of hard to see, but here's a pic anyway. I'm worried its dried mold or something because I can't imagine how this would be from manufacturing.
