Am i the only one who noticed this ? but the cloud 3s sound just better when you don't install the drivers. when you install them something just feels weird.

My Logitech G Pro X has broken down. I've been using it for years and I love its sound as I listen to music a lot. I recently ordered the Hyper X Cloud IIIs, and it's expected to arrive in two days. Did I make a mistake? I was torn between it and the G Pro X 2, which is $75 more expensive. Will I regret it?

Hello everyone, I have a HyperX headset and the Xbox Series X, and for some reason, when I plug it in, the audio doesn’t transfer to it. Yes, I’ve unplugged it and plugged it back in again. Yes, I’ve waited a few days. Yes, I’ve restarted the console. No, it’s not a controller problem, it isn’t working with either. No, it’s not a mono headset because it’s worked in the past for multiple years. Confused and frustrated. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

basically, i dont have an headset or headphones to use right now, So like every normal person i am looking for a new Headset
are the hyperx Cloud iii's(wired) worth it ? or should i look for different headphones?

As polished as this new software looks and feels, there are some interesting bugs. I have the HyperX Cloud III Wireless, and despite the equalizers and spatial audio sounding amazing, I've noticed a few issues.

Randomly, the headset will completely change how it sounds it seems, like it's cutting off certain spatial audio channels out of nowhere. I'll just be listening to something, and all of a sudden, the audio switches. Sometimes, even when no audio is playing, I'll hear a brief 30 millisecond blip of random noise. Whenever that happens, I know that as soon as I start playing audio again, the spatial sound is going to sound different.

I've also noticed that the connection range is super weak. I live in a two story house and used to be able to go downstairs or all the way outside while staying connected. Now I can't even walk to the bathroom across the hall without it disconnecting.

i also love how it creates 5 new audio devices in Windows. NGENUITY - Stream Mix, NGENUITY - Microphone Mix, NGENUITY - Chat, NGENUITY - 8 Channel Spatial, NGENUITY - 12 Channel Spatial, and HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless. I have to manually disable the ones i don't need in my sound settings, and even then, some of them just turn themselves back on.

I just wanted to share my experience. maybe someone can relate or even has a fix for this

I've had this problem since i bought the headset brand new, i plugged it into my controller and there was this loud buzzing sound. I've tried everything to stop it and the only thing that works is to turn mic monitoring all the way down. The other thing i noticed is the mic isn't working at all even if the monitoring is turned all the way up and the higher the monitoring slider is set the louder the noise gets and the mic doesn't work. I have tried the following:

- Updating my controller.

- Using a different controller.

- Plugging it into my pc which actually worked and there was no buzzeing noise whatsoever.

- plugged it into my phone which also workd without any issues.

The problem seems to be related only to Xbox which is driving me nuts.

Please i could use some assistance on this ASAP!

It got delivered today and i tried different ways of connecting it like wire and 2.4g and different usb ports but it wont show up on ngenuity

Hi, I’m having an issue with my HyperX Cloud III S Wireless USB dongle. The dongle is not turning on at all—this is not a pairing issue.

There is no LED or any sign of power when I connect it. I have tested it using both USB-C and the USB-A adapter, on both my laptop and PlayStation, and it does not work on either device. It was working perfectly before, but it suddenly stopped powering on completely. Has anyone experienced this issue before, or does HyperX have any troubleshooting steps or solution for a dongle that is completely unresponsive?

I emailed hyperx a couple days ago about a warranty replacement and they said they are directing all support inquiries to https://hyperx.com/pages/support but i cant find the chat for the life of me. Am i blind or do they not have it anymore?

A shot in the dark. The microphone is partially broken and I'm sure I can buy a replacement one from Ali or the likes.

I was wondering if it's even worth to try to contact customer support. I don't even have the transaction details, it's been so long and the likes.

Brand new hyperx alloy rise, keys constantly double for no particular reason, especially D and 6 and I have to go back and fix the text.

I've cleaned the keyboard, I checked for firmware updates, I reinstalled ngenuity like 4 times, nothing seems to work, this is frankly incredibly aggravating and I am extremely tempted to return it and never buy HyperX again, this is legitimately not even 2 months old.

Anyone got a solution for this nonsense or am I better off returning it and buying a different brand?

the headset doesnt appear in NGENUITY. is anyone else experiencing this?

So I just replaced my old gaming headset with the Cloud FLight 2 but when it comes to the different audio settings I'm pretty clueless. I want to have good precise sounds while gaming and, of course, an overall nice sound. Any help or resources are pretty much welcome, especially when it comes to surround sound and equalizer stuff.

I bought the HyperX Cloud 3S last week and really love it. It's so good. I'm extremely impressed by the battery that was already charged so I didn't need to charge before today. My question is this: how often do you charge your headset, and to what percentage do you charge it till? With my phone for instance I charge it to 80 - 85% to keep the battery longer and while it doesn't hold the charge that long anymore it's still miles better than when I used to charge my older phones to 100%. As how I remember it the battery will start to drain more if you let it discharge to 30% and charge go over 80%.

I'm planning to pick up the HyperX Cloud Alpha headset mainly for FPS games (CS2, Valorant, etc.). Before I buy, I wanted to ask the community for some advice on dialing in the equalizer for competitive shooters — footsteps, gunshot directionality, that kind of thing.

If you use the Cloud Alpha (or similar headsets) for FPS, could you share a step-by-step EQ setup? Something like:

What software do you use (Windows sound settings, NGENUITY, or a third-party EQ app)?

Which frequency bands do you boost/cut for clearer footsteps?

Do you lower bass to avoid it masking directional cues?

Any presets you'd recommend as a starting point?

How do you fine-tune from there while testing in-game?

Would really appreciate a beginner-friendly breakdown. Thanks in advance!

"HyperX Cloud III" output uses HyperX drivers, while "NGENUITY - 8 Channel Spatial" uses Microsoft drivers.
Making an EQ preset does not affect "HyperX Cloud III" output, but of course does affect "NGENUITY - 8 Channel Spatial" output. Just wondering if the NGENUITY output SHOULD be on HyperX drivers.

Hey everyone, I tried doing a battery replacement for my Cloud Flight S, but I am not sure on whether I should leave the remaining wires there or what should I do after cutting them? The new battery has its own cables.

Recently bought some cloud alpha 2s and i downloaded ngenuity and updated the firmware after charging them.

However, if I launch ngenuity while in game to mess with the EQ or make any adjustments, it causes me to lose game audio which as you can imagine is incredibly inconvenient for messing with EQ presets.

I was in a discord call at the time. I lost game audio, discord still worked fine, but i also couldnt hear anything on youtube. ending the process via task manager (steam, game, browser) did not resolve the issue and i had to do a full PC restart to get my audio back.

Any advice, or should i contact support?
