Jasper, Rocky Mountain House, Bow Valley Parkway, Banff, Highwood Pass & the Cowboy Trail across 3 days - can’t wait to get out there again. Almost 7000km on her since I first picked her up in May, bike took everything I threw at her and more, just as expected!

Customizations / Modifications Saddlemen Renegade Seat

Customized seat with gold thread on cross hatch, and silver top thread and logo. 400 miles on the seat and its finally getting broken in. Was awful for first 100 miles. Matches mini-floorboards and inverted shocks and rear shock reservoir. Really coming together.

Request for advice / Help 26 Indian Scout 101 Clutch Noise

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey All,

I just purchased a 2026 Indian Scout 101 and noticed a noise coming from the bike today.

When the bike is in neutral and the clutch is released, there is a fairly loud clanking/rattling noise coming from the engine/transmission area.

When I pull the clutch lever in, the noise immediately goes away. When I release the clutch, the noise comes back.

For reference, in the video:

0–8 seconds: Clanking noise is present with the clutch released.

8–14 seconds: Clutch is pulled in and the noise goes away.

14 seconds onward: Clutch is released and the noise returns.

Since the bike is brand new, I’m wondering if this is normal for the Scout 101 or if it could indicate an issue that should be inspected.

Thanks!

Thinking of getting a tune for my Scout 101. Thoughts?

I'm not chasing horsepower or trying to strain every ounce of power imaginable, I'm only trying to improve the fuel mapping. Euro-5 emissions have been a plague on motorcycles for a hot minute, but it's done quite a number to Indian.

All I want is better off-idle performance (no more pops when getting back on the throttle after decelerating), and better cold-start fuel delivery. I don't care if I lose a little mileage or even if I lose a little power. I just want better fueling. No engine modifications done to the bike (save for a slip-on).

Anyone here bought an aftermarket tune? Any that worked great or should be avoided? I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Tune for 2025 Sport Chief

Just bought the Megaphone Gen 2 exhaust from Two Brothers. I have some people telling me im gonna need to tune it, others telling me to run it without a tune to see how it runs to see if I can get away with not tuning it. My question is am I definitely gonna need to tune it or can I get away with not doing it?

Missing power switch

Looking to buy this 2021 Springfield dark horse. It looks like the previous owner has removed the power switch. Does anyone have an idea what was there instead and how prone this would be to water getting through. Thanks in advance.

Request for advice / Help Dent on front left corner.

My buddy has a 2022 Indian Scout Rogue. The tank was removed to be painted and ended up getting dropped. There is now a 1/2" deep dent about the size of a golf ball on the front left of the tank. Any suggestions on how to remove/repair or what kind of shop to take it to?

Request for advice / Help Rear frame slider installation?

Upvotes

I recently got some rear frame sliders from Meancycles that mount to the suspension attachment points (INDIAN SCOUT/VICTORY OCTANE REAR SLIDERS 2015-26).

There wasn’t a link to an installation guide/ video and if there is one on YouTube I can’t find it.

Have any of you put these or similar on your bike? So I need any special tools? I think I just need to jack the bike up to take the weight off the suspension and replace the bolts with the sliders & their bolts but I don’t want to get into it and realize I missed something important.

Thanks in advance
