stardust flare because i didnāt know how the gacha worked back in the day. i never used a single piece except the makeup at the beginning of my nikki journey
covenant of time because i let the hype consume me and pulled for the gloves and socks (and also the hair). never used them even once because they dye terribly on medium skin tonesā¦ it kinda soured the whole outfit for meā¦ wish the gradients were better and the colours were more richer instead of pastel looking
now i keep martyring myself over the fact that i wasted 83 crystals on them when i couldāve used them on something better or pulled for the evos of outfits that i actually use daily
in this economy, i really need to stop pulling impulsively š advice for future me!!!
ooooo this was my first ever 4-starā¦ i love her to death. i hope you grow to appreciate her eventually, because the dress is so goated for a 4-starā¦ it dyes beautifully and goes with a lot of different pieces :)
Chromas Mortal heart. First and last time I've pulled solely on the ability. The ability only works half the time, the deer form is hard to maneuver, and I don't really use any of the pieces aside from the sleeves.
i contemplated pulling for her because of the sleeves alone, but gambling on it would only be justified if i liked at least half of the outfitā¦ the ability is interesting, but since we have the interactive map now, i didnāt really see the point in going for it. decided to go for the moon lady instead cuz the bling magnet is lowkey life-changing
I find the chest ability so useful! Just like the bling magnet, huge QoL. I love them. Chest isnāt 24/7 useful since we do not have unlimited chests but when Iām trying to find them, the ability is super helpful. Whenever I use it, I thank the stars I had the foresight and the diamonds to pick this banner up.
so trueā¦ but tbh, i donāt regret my other banners at all, even if i donāt use some of the pieces as muchā¦ the abilities make up for it for most of themā¦ think of it as an investment for the future haha
If it makes you feel better I think the eyes, eyelashes and base makeup on the current banner are really versatile and cool. Makeup is super underrated and I feel like the face makeup is one of the first things I notice on every Nikki photo. You might be able to make a cool look with what you pulled one day! <3
I did pull to second evo, but for me itās something I really wanted and Iāve already used the dress to death. I actually want final evo, but I decided to chill and wait till I know what the 2.10 banner and rerun will be before I completely go ham.
My partner also pulled 10 for the eyes and luckily got the hair he wanted immediately too so now he can save his pulls.
I regret pulling the mushroom outfit, I never use any of the pieces. I also kinda regret pulling on the dragon lady banner. The ability itself is fine but I prefer born flawless. I am a fantasy lover so I got wrapped up in the dragon hype but I just donāt love most of the pieces.
timeless melody was the first banner that i ever completedā¦ even though i donāt use the pieces as much nowadays other than the hair, i donāt regret getting her at all. i feel quite nostalgic about her, actually. her ability was so goated back in the day, until it got powercrept by the cat outfit haha and the makeup is still one of my favourite sets ever released
I regret pulling half of Rainfall and Blossoms. I kinda wanted the hat and it took full pity (100 pulls) for me to oceans blessing it. I don't like any of the other pieces I got. And I only wear the hat for Halloween time and even then I could live without it. š¤·āāļø
Iām the opposite here, never completed her and didnāt get the hat which I am very sad about.
I love the dress to bits and have dyed it literally every colour of the rainbow by nowā¦
I regret not pulling for the Capricorn outfit too. At the time, the metal braid pieces in her hair really bothered me but it is so gorgeous from the front.
Covenant of Time is my personal GOAT but I can understand your feelings. I rarely dye anything from it, I fortunately love the colors Infold picked.
My most regretted pulls are on Blooming Dreams and Forest Ripple, both of which I pulled on for the four stars. I donāt use the four stars enough to justify pulls on five stars I donāt like. Foolery.
Melody of Timeā¦ biggest regret of my life. I fell for FOMO for the prop and the key, never really used either of them because the key was so big it seemed clunky on most fits. Love the 4 star hair though. The ability is also incredibly whacky to use imo, havenāt touched it since the tutorial because of how slow it felt. I still donāt really know why I pulled all the way to the second evoā¦
i had to google to check which outfit this was haha but yeah, as a wanxiang haver, having both of them wouldāve been redundant unless you love linglang fashion
i put her as my astralite collecting outfit because it kinda fits the aesthetic, but since iām rarely on the home island, i donāt see her that often haha
I use the fuck out of the hair, which is the only reason I donāt regret it. Otherwise, I donāt use the gloves or socks half as much as I thought I would.Ā

I kinda regret Snowy Ballad. I almost never use the ability, and the pieces aren't that versatile for me. I like that it's unique because it has separate top and bottom, but it might be one of my least-used 5* outfits. I probably should have chosen Crimson Feather instead.

Funnily enough, I love Stardust Flair's hair. I use it quite often. The gold accents in the red just look so cool imo. Also, I simply can't regret pulling for the 4 star of that banner. It has such a versatile top and I really like the more masculine outfits overall. So definitely no regrets from me though I also don't plan to complete Stardust Flair. I've got what I wanted and don't need anymore.
Back in the day I used to pull for like every limited banner so I have several incomplete setsā¦ I canāt even excuse myself I knew I couldnāt finish them š pull regret for me would have to be finishing some evolutions to the end. Theyāre never something I need and I rarely use the dresses but I love the extra rewards so itās half and half
thatās the thingā¦ iām always pulling for the whole thingā¦ stardust flare is the only set that i havenāt completed, and it kills me every time cuz itās gonna stay like this forever unless they give us some discounted pulls like with the current bannerš
I think my only true regret is rippling reverie, cause I have NO IDEA what I was thinking. I knew I didnāt really care for it and decided to go for 4/5 makeup as usual, but ended up getting the full outfit for some reason.
Chromaās mortal heart (the deer outfit) is half-regret, only because I barely use any of the pieces. The ability was pretty worth it, though
I donāt really have a regret pull. If I donāt like the main pieces (hair, outfit, accessory, shoes, or outerwear) I wonāt usually pull. Also stay away from socials hyping up outfits. It just adds to the fomo.
Iām a sucker for sleeves though. Usually will end up on my blessing every time
Crimson Feather and the Ballerina outfits are both that I initially loved the look of, but ended up never using any of its pieces. I donāt regret those outfits because their abilities are so OP, but they do feel like dead space in my wardrobe. It sucks choosing between abilities and aesthetics sometimesĀ
Kinda Daughter of the Lake because at the end of the day, I thought I would love the pieces more than I actually do. But other than that, I try to be strict enough for myself, I rather hope for reruns than an outfit that I will regret pulling entirely.
Weirdly enough, for me it's Pink Ribbon Waltz. I was so hyped for the twintails in particular, and now that I actually have it I have zero inspiration to use any of its pieces.
For me it's Water's Echo. I pulled it before I saw what was coming in 1.7 (Tide of Tears). I could used those crystals! š¤£š
Speaking to your two: I am planning to finally finish Stardust Flare this time around. I pulled for the 4* military looking outfit. But I have used both the hair and that gorgeous necklace in multiple outfits over the past year. And I'm like, two pieces away I think. So might as well.
As far as Covenant of Time, I'm older so it perfectly warms my 90's whimsigoth heart. I'm using it with Blooming Dream wings as my floating outfit.
I regret the elegant ballroom 5 star one (Echoed dreams?). I loved the blue first evo but down the line none of its pieces have been useable for me. I normally love the 5stars because there is always some accessory or part that gets used again and again. But not this one!
Stardust flare is the one that Iām regretting tooā¦ I didnāt play gacha games before. But thinking about it rn I happy that I got the 4 star. It doesnāt have any rhinestones and itās not shiny. I actually use a lot of 4 star pieces š
Lol Stardust Flare is my regret, it's kinda pretty, back in the day it came out we didn't had much suits around and as a F2P I was able to get it, but used it only once. Also the ability is VERY lame. The hair is cool tho
I pulled for stardust flare just for the 4 star and got some 5star pieces in the process. I NEVER use anything from that banner lmao. The hair is good tho, I have used it for some of my ability outfits but that's it šš
I regret pulling on snowy ballad. I hardly use any of the pieces and i dont even use the ability. I fully regret not going for crimson feather instead. Right now all i have are 5 pieces and a desperate wish for a rerun
I regret the ones I haven't finished. Pretty much every patch since 2.0 ive pulled half of every 5 star outfit for deep echoes and now Im starting to wish I would've just saved on some and went all the way with ones like floral rebirth so I could have more QOL features cause now I'm almost 2 years into the game and the only QOL ability I got is the grooming from Enchanted Encounter šš I want bug catching... and i want the Auto collecting from Forest Ripple too... now I have to wait for reruns
I regret pulling snowy ballad, I got so excited over the mermaid theme but I don't actually like the outfit that much and the top dyes so badly, and I only got the dress and hat for covenant of time they also dye very badly but luckily I like how the dress looks mostly undyed so I'll finish the base on the rerun but from what I've seen the evo dress dyes even worse so I don't think I'll get the evo
Itās interesting how many answers here are sets that I LOVE. Just goes to show how subjective preferences are, and just because one person likes a set, it doesnāt mean youāll like it, and just because someone doesnāt like a set, it means itās bad.Ā
For me, the set I regret is Solitary Silhouette (the one with the plague doctor mask over the eyes). I like pulling for unique pieces, but I ended up almost never styling the plague mask, I donāt like how the outfit is a dress (please give us more separate tops and bottoms) with a hood that doesnāt work with a lot of hairstyles, the gloves are lowkey unusable either a giant wing attached to one of them, I donāt use the shoes either, despite it being kinda unique as tall boots, and while I know a lot of people like its cape, I also canāt figure out how to make it work for me either.Ā
my two regrets do have some major upsides that I would hate to give up, so I hesitate to call them regrets exactly, but they were prob not the best uses of my diamonds.
putting 80 pulls into timeless melody for the 4-star. I never use it (except the hair, the last piece I got lmao). HOWEVER that got me the puff sleeves and key from timelo so... silver linings. also I use the timelo contacts for like half my outfits.
the bigger one: the lion outfit from last patch. I don't really care for the main pieces, though the wings ARE cool for pics, and the 4-star is rad. the thing that made me pull was that GORGEOUS prop, and I don't really regret it that much, but I do regret that it was attached to a 5-star I don't super care for.
my regrets may increase if we get crimson feather and tide of tears reruns back to back and I don't have enough dias for one or the other.
I didn't finish it but mine is also Covenant of Time! I didn't get the dress, hat or boots which are my least favourite parts at least. But I don't even use the hair now and I hate having an unfinished outfit lol!
The current one was a pull regret for about half a day, now I'm obsessing over her. My banner history is 1) sweet, 2) sweet, 3) cool and 4) sweet though so it seems I have a type š

I pulled for Stardust when it came out because she reminded me of my favourite Barbie dress from the Fashion Fairytale movie or something (I donāt remember the name of it in Englishš ). Do I regret it? Yes and no. I wore it constantly after I got it but havenāt since. I do like the choker and wear it often so the hair and even sometimes other accessories.
As for covenant I have no regrets. (Only base outfit) I use the hair a lot and I love that the gloves have bracelets and rings so they look more put together because of that especially since we donāt have many fun rings.
covenant of time was an expensive lesson in hair preferences for me... I still think it's cute but I seem to have developed a hatred for straight bangs lol
I love covenant of time but i also use the lighter skin tone... I cant understand why the devs just wont fix it so that they look good on every skin tone already:(
Otherwise my biggest regret is the duck dress from when it first dropped - i never use any of the pieces and nit even any of the 3 extras š
For me, noā¦at least not Infinity Nikki because I have played both Love Nikki and Shining Nikki and am already familiar with the gatcha.
I understand your feelings though, I also have no interest in Starust Flare myself and I can see regretting pulling for it (My partner loves it though so Iām happy about the rerun so heāll be able to finally complete it)
My personal advice to the impulsivity is to make a list of banners you werenāt able to pull on for some reason (maybe you thought you wouldnāt like it and skipped or maybe you didnāt have enough pulls to complete/get the evos you wanted) and make a tier list of which of the reruns you really want more than the current banner. This really has helped me focus on specific ones.
Also, if a banner does not immediately give you a āyes, gorgeous 10/10ā vibes, take a step back and wait for the preview of the next banner before you decide.

Unicorn dress. Nice ability, but i can't style any pieces. I just have better options than that set. And the dress for me is average, i pulled mostly for ability, but i berely use it
I regret pulling for stardust flare, i only got the dress, gloves and shoes but it's now my least favourite 5* dress. I don't like the wardrobe pose either it makes her look like she wants to fight someone lol.
Iām so annoyed covenant of time released during my break from IN, it hits every note for me and I canāt wait for it to rerun š tysm for mentioning that it dyes terribly though, I will temper my expectations!
I also pulled a few pieces of Stardust Flare bcs I wanted some bits of the makeup, and yeah I donāt think Iāve used it at all. Itās kind of hard to style, not a lot of other sets work with it
Grains of yesterday. I hate the hair, and I almost never use the whimiscality.. i just loved the dress because it has flowers and the accessories were cute.
Few patches ago there was a really ugly Jellyfish-like deess (not the Reverie in the Where Stars Yearn event). I never use that one. Wish we could sell these dresses or swap with other stylists like in a market.
Harvest blessings. I Got it on the rerun. I wanted the hair so I pulled hoping Iād get it early but I ended up getting it last š so it put a bad taste in my mouth and I ended not even using the hair cus I was upset that I pulled for it.
SF is my one and only and hugest regret in game while CoT is one of the best things iāve ever pulled for even though it was mostly for the hair and pretty animationš
Covenant of time is my baby i love it sm, but most of its pieces are hard to style so i understand. I mostly use the hair and dress from it! But for regrets... the mushroom 4 star, i never used its pieces ever. Also Daughter of the lake kinda. I bought into the hype, but I realized that I don't like slim dresses that much. The hair i like in theory, but it has that dark gradient that makes dyes look really muddy so i never use it...
Unfortunately, She Is Wildfire! I looooooove the final evo, and at first impression loved the base dress too - apart from the weird extra fabric at the back. I pulled just for the dress because I thought I'd be able to look past it, but quickly realised I couldn't. The dress dyes horribly too so I've barely ever used it, despite it being one of my favourites thematically.
I do still love the final evo though so I may pull for it when she reruns

I started after stardust flare but am unimpressed (sorry yall) and donāt plan on pulling for that one.
