I don’t use instagram that much but i’ve got all of my messages memories and some pictures on there.

I haven’t even used the app in the last few months and today i received an email that they want to verify my account whatsoever. i did the verification and then it went back to normal for a few minutes. came back on the app just to find out they want my id now

i sent them an old id of mine which isn’t valid anymore

but genuine question what the frick did i do??? i didn’t even use the freaking app in the past few months dude

Im able to log into my instagram account, and even reset the password, but once i log in i see a screen that asks me to update email address, cant see or do anything else.
When i try to add new email, it sends me a code, and then it tells me the code i entered is wrong, it is not.

I’ve tried multiple things and multiple times. On mobile, on browser, cleared cache, incognito mode.
Tried different new emails, same email as the account, etc.
Been stuck here for like 2 days now.

Not sure what to do from here on, my instagram account was never connected to Meta Account center (which my facebook is)

This happened to me twice today and I’m not sure if it’s a thing I’m just noticing or a glitch.

I’ll see a reel, and will leave a comment. Then later I’ll go on that person’s profile and that reel isn’t on their profile (yes even when I click on the reel tab). I know the reel is still there because the person replied to my comment and I have the notification, once I click it it takes me to the video. It’s just not showing on their feed.

Is this something you can do?? Make a reel but hide it from your main profile? I don’t see anything that says ad so it’s not like a promotional thing.

so i am under a business portfolio on meta suite for work and for some reason the one ig page they want me to post on (that i have access to content for) only gives me the option to post to my personal profile?? under the other business portfolio i have perfect access to the other page, but that one is a facebook AND ig page that are linked… no idea if that’s why but if anyone has any insight plz help!!

got three of my meta accounts suspended and now I need to submit an id, all of this started when I got hacked and I spam sent gambling links due to metas shitty security so I changed my password. Then a few days later gets hacked again on both of my accounts NOW I couldn't send messages of access my messenger so I had to use my old accounts but they suspended all of those since I was VIOLATING tos and all I was doing was contacting immediate family NOW even my Instagram account got suspended???? wtf is happening??????

I just opened insta randomly just to find out that my account got suspended there is an appeal button i went through the steps and now they are asking for my id what could be the reason for my ban and should I give my id?

Learn more takes me to Account status where Meta (allegedly) will list out any restrictions currently on your account. HOWEVER, it shows me every time that there are NO current restrictions (check marks mean everything is good as usual), even tho I still can't message?? any suggestions would be great, TIA

Anyone else get messages from some accounts asking for pictures? Dont know what they wanted but the only reason I knew it was a scam was because they sent me a photo that a previous account had sent to me already.

Starting off, I have a main account which I primarily post on, and a second account which, as of now, I haven’t posted from or really interacted with instagram on other than making the account itself. Yesterday, I logged in to both accounts, only to be told that both my main AND my second account were disabled. My second account was flagged for being under 13, even though i’m 18, thus disabling my main acc as well. I tried to appeal it with a face video to prove my age but it was unsuccessful, so i uploaded a picture of my Driver’s license, and now it says i’m still not over the age of 13!!! What!!! I just want to know if there’s any way I can save my accounts and appeal it through another means or is it game over???
