I'm a 2026 grad planning to do my Master's in 2027. I've been looking into affordable options abroad and recently came across KFUPM, specifically their MSc in Cyber Security and MSc in AI programs.

Wanted to hear from people who know about KFUPM / have studied there:

How different are these programs compared to Indian unis?

Is the degree recognised globally and in India?

What are the career options after graduating? Is it possible to get jobs in Saudi or elsewhere?

I have an 8+ CGPA, but not much research experience. Do I still have a decent shot at getting a scholarship?

If not, what can I do over the next year to improve my profile?

Would really appreciate any advice or experiences from current students/alumni!

also are the interviews usually conducted for masters application?

Im a new international students at KFUPM. I recently got my Iqama a couple days ago but when I tried registering my Absher account my number was already registered to another one. I tried phoning customer service and stuff, at the end i gave up and decided to spend more money on a new phone number. Even worse, this new number is also recycled and is linked to another absher account (but my contract is taken out on my own iqama). I cant register my Iqama on absher at all, it just says the number is linked to another id, if i press "accept" it'll change but when i do the registration gives up and never completes. Idk what to do, where to go... nobody is able to give me any useful advice other than "try and make it work" or "just get another number again". I kinda need this done to get my stipend and like, live here so this has really sucked. Please if anyone can help me out with what to do, if really appreciate it.

the thing is I have low high school grades, would these grades affect my admission in any way even if I get 1590 or 1600 score? just confirm this doubt..... international SAT route NON resident non saudi

On the university website it reads "SAT scores must be directly sent to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals from the SAT Test Center."

How do i send my sat score directly from the test centre?

Is it possible to send scores as they will be uploaded on the test taker's profile in about 2 weeks from the date of taking the test?

I was initially accepted into al Jouf University for an Engineering program and thats great alhamdulillah i’d love to meet saudis and learn about your culture

My concern however alongside 30\~ ish other students i know that got initially accepted is that the final acceptance has not arrived and its worrying some students if they might be deferred to the second semester, If anyone is studying there i’d appreciate it if you shared some insight on this matter, Thank you!
