DISCUSSION WR intel
Chiefs kingdom! I drafted Cyrus Allen. What’s the insider news or scoop on Rashee rice? I heard he isn’t the same and have been very concerning at training camp. The hype around Cyrus Allen was too good for me to pass up.
So is the tea true? Cyrus is looking like the main guy this year?

DISCUSSION What do y’all think is Brett Veach’s best draft so far?
Brett Veach, like most GMs, has his fair share of hits and misses. There are many draft picks that he’s made that I love, but I’ve been wondering, what do I think is his best ever draft class? He’s had nine draft classes (albeit some are too quick to judge) but I’m thinking between 2018-24 (ones we can 100% base opinions off of), what’s his best?
2018 and 2023 were horrific, no way. 2019 I don’t think was all too amazing either. Would say the same about 2024 — it’s not bad, it’s young, but nowhere near the top.
I think the only ones that you can debate are 2021 and 2022. 2022 is considered amazing by the vast majority of not just Chiefs fans, but NFL fans. It gave us tons of success over the past four years with guys like McDuffie, Watson, Karlaftis, Pacheco, Cook.
But I would personally say it’s 2021. As great as 2022 was, Karlaftis is the only guy left. The 2021 draft class gave us Nick Bolton, Creed Humphrey, and Trey Smith — all three of which got second contracts in KC and will have several years with the team, especially the later two. The latter two, especially with the signing of Joe Thuney that offszn, created the league’s best interior offensive line for years.
What are y’all’s thoughts?

DISCUSSION [Nick Jacobs] Here are some cutups of Jack Pyburn against the Chiefs in preseason week 2. He worked on both side off the edge, good bull rush. He has the strength to hold up against the run. I like his wide 9 rush. He does the little things right. Worst case solid ST.

ANALYSIS & NEWS [Schefter] Former LSU and Buccaneers edge Jack Pyburn was claimed on waivers by the Chiefs. He has informed LSU that he is withdrawing his claim in the NCAA's '5-for-5' eligibility litigation and will remain in the NFL rather than return to LSU, per his agents Christian Addison and Harold Lewis.

DISCUSSION Ok, it's time to pay attention tion now. What did I miss?
I cannot bring myself to give one single f**k about the draft or training camp. Seems like the general consensus is that we should be able to improve over that mess from last year. It also seems like the chargers and donkeys improved too. Is this an actual super bowl run kind of season or does no one know anything until we see who stays healthy? Is our current depth injury resistant?

ANALYSIS & NEWS [Derrick] QB Chris Oladokun, G/C C.J. Hanson, and RB E.J. Smith all cleared waivers with injury designations. That means all three revert to the Chiefs' injured reserve list.
