For most of the beginning up until Ryuko finds and wears Senketsu, she has primarily been seen wearing flat white sneakers or anything that is nowhere close to high heels.

Meanwhile, Satsuki had some form of heels in her initial uniform even before obtaining Junketsu. It seemingly makes more sense that she’s worn them for way longer than Ryuko has, and is ultimately more used to them.

Yet on the very first episode shortly after Ryuko obtains Senketsu, she goes up against Takaharu and is mostly able to fight against him outside of initial embarrassment towards her outfit. To me, Ryuko is the type of person that doesn’t seem like she’d ever wear high heels at first glance, and yet she is suddenly able to swiftly manuver, walk and jump across dozens of students heads in them in the events leading up to Takaharu’s fight.

I also don’t believe that the heels on either Kamui are easy to walk in and are moderately tall to some degree (anime’s height portrayal is questionable of any real scale outside of it looking like stilettos), so I’m thinking that a first wear from any individual would have likely been a bit awkward to move around in from the start. Maybe it varies on the person though.

Putting aside any sort of additional power/abilities that Senketsu or any Kamui gives, do you think that there’s a reason as to how Ryuko is able to become accustomed to high heels so fast, either whether it’d be easy for her, or she somehow had prior experience with them? Or do you think she did initially struggle with her outfit’s heels offscreen? I’m just about open to any interpretation, really.

I wanted to make a version of Spider-Man that would exist in this universe.

I had an idea where Ryuko and Mako in the future use a donor to have a kid and that child eventually becomes Spider-Man. Ragyō (somehow) survived and for 23 years has been slowly rebuilding an army to get revenge against Earth for the utter humiliation, maybe she corrupts Klyntars with life fibers or something idk. Peiter makes a suit made up of remnants of Senketsu (again, idk somehow parts of him survived), and boom he's Spider-Man. Kinda like Carnage almost in how the suit has weapons that come out of nowhere.

What do you think? Is this cool or batshit crazy?

I found some of my sketches from 9 years ago (when I first watched Kill La Kill, god Im old) after I drew her again after my rewatch this year. Time sure flies but I got reminded why Ryuko is one of my all time favorites!
