Farmers want ANOTHER bailout

https://youtu.be/eNFAv4rhnMM

American farmers are facing their worst economic crisis in decades, with bankruptcies soaring and family farms at risk of disappearing. But why are taxpayers being asked to bail out farmers who voted against their own interests - again?

I’m a small cattle producer. I didn’t vote for Trump. I know quite a few liberal ranchers here in Oklahoma. We are far out numbered but I will say this, these bailouts aren’t designed for the mom and pop farmer/rancher. They are designed for the big producers. About 65% of farm subsidies go to the largest 10% of producers. So just like the rest of the country the big boys get paid and the small timers get the fucking crumbs.

This is something most folks fail to understand. Even if a bailout for farmers, ranchers, etc. was set up, it will be based on percentage, relative to the size of the operation, not need. Small businesses get no meaningful relief, while large corporations with deep pockets, just refill their coffers.
