Soooo…If I’m hearing you correctly, and I’d like to think that I am, you are making the rest of us the bad guys because you were stupid enough to vote for a conman turned failed gameshow host. And now, after the YEARS of senseless hatred, we are supposed to forget you did all of it in the first place so we can all move on together?

Honestly, I need you to say it…

‘I was wrong. I screwed up. I’m sorry.’

Say that, and then we can all move on. But know this, none of us will forget what you did. We will always remember that time you sold out your friends, family, and neighbors just so you could feel important. You’ll have to live with that now; not me, you. For a moment, you were the worst of America.

Speak for yourself, and other like minded individuals. This is not and never will be me.

Jan. 6 was the line in the sand for some of us. Anyone who voted for him after that can fuck off now and forever. I don't care one bit about them, their lives, or their futures.

You are free to act how you want but for some of us, there is absolutely no coming back from this.

I hear you, I really do. Believe me, there’s nothing I want more than for every single Trumpanzee to go through their own personal Nuremberg. I’m also not saying that we forgive any of it, however, Germany moved on…and so will we; It’s imperative for our survival as a nation. There has to be a mechanism to rid ourselves of this toxicity with as little collateral as possible. The alternative is, quite literally, catastrophic.

I agree that there is no coming back from this, at least not in the coming decades. But the rebuild has to start somewhere.

We tried to move on after the Civil War and yet some of these same assholes still wave Confederate flags. Fuck a rebuild.

I would argue that the problem with the post-war reconstruction was that it failed to rebuild things. The structure of the society wasn't dismantled and rebuilt, it was just allowed to largely continue unchanged. That's what we have to avoid here, we need to deconstruct and entirely rebuild.
