Discussion Are farmers and ranchers having a "Friday" moment? Should we care that they loaned their VCR to Felicia and are now realizing they are not getting it back?

They’re not going to learn anything. They’re probably going to get a bailout. The ones that don’t are going to blame Democrats for not protecting them from the people they vote for, and then continue voting Republican to “punish” them.

Roughly 80% of farmers voted for trump and now expect special treatment. They didn’t say a word when their boy cut healthcare, SNAP, VA benefits, childcare, rousted good immigrants, taxed people with tariffs, eliminated DEI, etc. Tired of them whining, honestly.

Nope. No cares at all. VHS recording of themselves at Drumpf rally in that VCR gone! Bye Felicia

Actually, now I see no reason for a beef import quota.

These people for years have bragged about their work ethic and their bootstraps while calling everyone big government socialists.

Don’t tread on me, I should be able to buy beef from anywhere I want.

Within reason, I want safe beef. I want beef to be inspected and quality controlled. Not just any beef from anywhere in any quality with contaminants/diseases/parasites/growth-hormones/antibiotics etc.

The ranchers voted for Trump, they are losing their farms/ranches. They were warned that this was going to happen for a over a decade! They still voted for Trump. They will still vote for Trump and Republicans, if to only own the libs.

Fools, they are.

We can set up better import inspections.

Also, could make it unlimited for Australia, Japan, Korea, and NZ.

My guess is their beef is better than ours anyway.

this title deserves some sort of an award, because most posts on this sub are not even trying to be original

Consequences of their actions.

Consequences of their votes, despite repeated warnings. The whole premise of leopards eating a face (or, in this case, farms).

The only thing that I don’t like about this whole situation is that the farm foreclosure auctions won’t be live-streamed.

I would watch the fuck out of farmers and their kids getting dragged, kicking and screaming, off their land right before it’s sold to some soulless private equity firm.

Do I hear, oh do I hear 3 fiddy? 3 fiddy? Sold to Vice President Vance and AcreTrader.com. May god bless your soul because your farm belongs to the very leopards you voted for! Damn those leopards are a hungry! Ate your farm right up! Sold. Now sign here Cletus. No. Not on my face! On the dotted line here!

It’s even worse. Trump will probably bail them out by giving them taxpayer money (again) and they’ll go back to not caring that the rest of us are suffering even worse

*MAGA farmers

True. Important and factual distinction. Not all farmers voted for this, just an overwhelming majority.

Now if we could get the active duty military, and veterans to get this message.

I really hope these numbers start to change as the younger generations take over the farms. The other problem is the average age of farmers is around 60 or something like that.

They will get a bailout just like the soybean farmers got, then go back to bitching about how cows shouldn't be allowed to play badminton with Jaguars all the while Data Centers are running my electric bill through the roof. Good times

I couldn't care less. I'm skipping bills to pay for my dog's surgery today.

I gave up meat months ago because of their greed and the fat fuhrer.

They can eat their pig manure for all I care.
