Got it with 40k miles about 6 months ago. I’ve slowly been doing all the preventative maintenance. As of last weekend I’ve replaced every single fluid. Hoping to make it to 500k! Pics are from the day I got it and how it looks today.

Ordered a set of wheels for the gx 17x8.5 with a -12 offset. Trying to figure out suspension but I wanted to put the wheels on and ride on the stock suspension until I figured out the funds and what I want. Would a 285/70r17 fit on the stock suspension for the time being or is that way to big. I’m not doing any off roading Just daily driving for the time being Thanks in advance

My 06 GX470 with 322k miles has loud and noticeable vibration from about 45-70 MPH. It is noticable in the entire car, not just the steering wheel.

I know this question gets asked to death but here's the caveat of why I'm asking this - it only happens when I let off the gas and coast. When gas is applied, the vibration instantly goes away.

Every other post I've seen about vibrations only seem to mention vibration under load that disappears when letting off gas, which is why I'm stumped.

So far I've greased the ujoints and driveshafts, trans fluid, and diff fluids. I still need to check wheel balance but is there anything else anyone would recommend? Does this sound like my driveshafts or ujoints are shot?

Looking at this vehicle and noticed this frame section. A friend says it looks like it had been plated at the line mount but not sure. Wondering if it looks like frame repair or normal. Rest of the car is very clean and other side of frame isn’t as rusty.

2023 GX here. The headlight washer broke on my wife’s car and I ordered a new washer and washer cap. How do I mount this thing back? Do I have to take the headlight out? I have the clip and the new washer connected but can’t seem to figure out how it mounts from under the car. Pic is of my wife’s car for reference.

Tried using my Launch diagnostic tool to set the blinker flash to 3x. Couldn’t find a setting. Anyone done this? Can it be done via techstream? Not paying the dealer to do it.

What is the best year/model to look for when buying a GX460 in terms of reliability/problems? considering a budget at around USD$25K I'm worried mainly for the KDSS problems. Currently have a 2011 J150 Prado (the Toyota version with diesel engine) and i think a GX would be a perfect replacement mainly for comfort and features. Sorry for my english in advance.

Hello, I bought an updated grille to replace the one on my 2016 GX 460 and have noticed that my emblem has the crash detection sensor. My question is, will this give me any issues when replacing the grille? I havent been able to find a single tutorial where they have this emblem. Thanks!

I sadly found out that the KYB JAOS Series kits are being discontinued. I've been waiting for a while and noticed they haven't come back in stock, then finally emailed them to find out. I feel like this was an ideal kit for where I wanted to go.

I’m looking at buying a 2013 GX460 Luxury Sport w/ 138k miles for $16,500.

My concern is the coolant valley leaks on these things and the KDSS. Should that be enough to deter me?

The owner said the radiator has already been replaced and the frame is in great shape (southern owned).

The overall vehicle is in great shape with good service records.. the only thing truly holding me back is will this possibly turn into a money pit?

I owned a 14’ 4Runner that was fantastic, I just get generally concerned about it being a Lexus and it having more things to “break” on it as well as the premium parts and labor etc.

Installed the Hamilton premium conversion kit in my 2016 GX. A very overdue and welcome upgrade.

I recently acquired a 2004 GX470 with the Mark Levinson system. Front woofers sound fine at low volume but terrible at moderate-high volume. Following my initial research, I was expecting to be facing a re-foam, which I've performed on many speakers. In fact, I was so sure I ordered the foam kit. When I pulled the door card to have a look, much to my dismay a prior owner replaced the original drivers with some non-compatible 4-ohm drivers. So, I have been down the speaker replacement rabbit hole that is the Mark Levinson system. I believe I am settled on the PowerBass OE-690D - Amazon.com: PowerBass OE-690D - 6"x9" 3-Way Speakers 100Wrms / 300Wmax (2-Ohm) - Pair : Electronics. Before pulling the trigger, I thought I'd throw it out to this group. Any experience with this particular driver, other recommendations, helpful resources, etc? All help is MUCH appreciated!
