Green Screen App for Programs

Hello all!

I’m looking for recommendations on an iPad app to take photos on a green screen. The one we used to use (I can’t for the life of me remember the name and it’s been deleted already, maybe chromavid) stopped being supported and I can’t find a good replacement.

I’ve got permission to buy an app, as we use it at various events and for programs. The old one had its faults but it let me zoom in/out on the chosen background and to move it around on the screen to put it in the perfect position to make the photo work. Ideally I’d like an app that I can crop/edit the picture without having to go to photos to do so.

Any suggestions or ideas?

- we are in Canada so needs to be available in the Canadian App Store.

We always used DoInk: Tutorials — Do Ink It was easy to use for the youngest of kids and oldest of adults. My former library use to run several community based events and we had a Green screen photobooth with paper props and preselected backgrounds (made on Canva) that were themed based on the event. One of our events was always on May 4th so that was always Starwars themed. We printed out Canva props and taped them onto green straws. Attendees could pick up their background a shoot a quick clip or snap a pick with any of the selected backgrounds (3 options for variety and speed).

Not exactly what you’re looking for, but does your library have a Canva subscription? There’s a ‘background remover’ that’s very handy.
