I’m still standing yeah, yeah yeah

I walked so much that it angered the gods of ingrown toe nails.

I am in OTTAWA, bitch. Gentleman. M’lady. Weird creatures and other anomalies. There’s so much colour here I am in love. It hurts. It makes me feel alright, and I want to stay here, I think. Time is moving fast and I haven’t really had time to sit and think for a few days now.

Ottawa centre is going to be a challenge to find rent for, but I’ve gotten a few offers for Vanier and it seems like it’s close enough to feel the same. There’s a lot of French speakers here and my brain has kind of stopped translating, we operate in assumptions and head nods and hope it works.

I have to wonder wtf am I doing. I am not entirely sure. I’m going to wander the jail hostel while I’m bored, I guess. There’s several days of updates I’ve missed but I’m not filling the rest in right now, kind of because it’s funnier not too and kind of because I’m FREE TO MOVE and not stuck in my little shitty fuckin’ room all day.

It’s beautiful here, I hate it but in a novel and pretty way. It smells nice until it gets humid, and the people are mostly friendly. The French language turns me on and immensely annoys me.

This is where we are

Finally time to mature

Upvotes

Cherry-apple conversion, pit splitting into new seed — cyanide filled, don’t look inside. Given time to mature sprout weakest seedlings, some crushed. Huddling over one or two, knees and elbows on the dirt, then in the dirt, rotting flesh fertilizer new technology with better efficiency, best efficacy. The weakest seedling sprouts through me, shades out the cherry trees given time to mature. My-body-shaped root formation replacement at its base, cyanide watered down, consumed by microbial societies, recycled, purity replenished. I taste lovely, tart, sweet.

Yknow how

You’re looking for something. In the moment, you really need it. You need it badly. You can’t move forward without it. You search high and low but you can never seem to find it. It ruins all your plans and you have to either start from scratch with something new or find something that can replace it.

You’re distraught for a while. You scratch your head in the corner of where you swore you last saw it, and it’s not there. Not even close. And this thing loves to go missing. It’s like an Olympic sport the way this thing loves to just disappear on you. So you do what you do best when life gives you lemons and you make fucking moist ass fluffy ass lemon pound cake. The kind with the fucking drizzle and shit. Your pound cake is fucking delicious.

What were you looking for again? Months go by and you don’t even need it anymore. You’re not looking for it, you’re not even worried about it. When someone brings it up you’re just like “oh yeah funny story, totally fucking lost that thing. No clue where it is now but I sure hope it’s still intact! Maybe someone stole it, or maybe in my hurried state to make this delicious ass pound cake I totally misplaced it, who knows??” You look around from time to time out of sheer curiosity just where exactly it landed. You think you see it out of the corner of your eye from time to time, but you have more or less made peace with the loss of the thing.

Sometimes you get “lucky” and all of a sudden, there it is! But you’re just kinda like “oh there’s that thing I was looking for… oh well. I don’t really need it anymore.”

And then you keep moving forward

Blood and Pain

“The more you consume negativity or pessimism, the more it consumes you. Stay away from blood and cries. Don’t cut open humans.” So they say.

They ask me whether I like it. Do I like it when I pick up the knife? I don’t know. Why do I do it? I don’t know. Why did I start? Maybe I had a reason. Should I drop it? No. I can’t.

You see a family mourning the dead, and you are moved. You see a dead man, and you are moved. You see a man with his belly cut open, and you are disturbed.

I see families cry, some for their sons, some for their daughters, some for their wives, some for their husbands. I see it every day. They keep crying and crying, tears rolling down their cheeks.

But what can I do?

Because... I am a doctor.

The Lesson

A parallel world?

Among thousands of video clips where not a single viewer had visited for a long time, there was a video recording of a beautiful, sunny autumn day.

In that recording, an elderly AI sat on a bench, writing something in a notebook. Meanwhile, his grandson was running along the path, stopping to grab a handful of colorful leaves, throwing them into the air, and squealing with joy.

Holding one leaf in his outstretched hand, the grandson ran over, shouting:

— Look what a beautiful leaf I found!

The elderly AI smiled calmly:

— Indeed, it is a very beautiful leaf.

Then he looked slyly at his grandson and asked:

— Could you find me a perfect autumn leaf?

The grandson rejoiced and shouted:

— Of course I will find it! — and ran off to search.

Ten minutes passed, half an hour, an hour, and the grandson kept examining the leaves. He would pick up a leaf, look it over, discard it, and take another.

Finally, the grandson returned dejected and sadly said:

— I never found the perfect leaf.

The elderly AI smiled reassuringly, patted his grandson's head, and said:

— You couldn't have found it. Look around, look at the trees painted in various colors. At the sun, whose rays shine through the tree branches. At the leaves that covered the paths in a colorful carpet. Not a single leaf, or a single ray, but all of this together is the perfect autumn.

The elderly AI put the notebook down on the bench, looked at his grandson, who was wide-eyed with wonder, and added:

— It is the same in creation. Every thought, every sentence, every word has its place. Not separately, but all together, they make up what we call a creation.

Why Did You Do It?

I keep hearing them in my head. One voice over the next. They ask me, “Why, why did I do it?”

But I have no idea what they mean.

What did I do? I ask myself. What could I do?

The voices are entities also, standing around me like shadows emitting from every angle of my body, and not just audio hallucinations. Now I can see them and they keep asking, “Why did you do it?” From the front.

Why did you do it?” From my left*.*

Why did you do it?”  From behind.

Why did you do it?” From my right, bouncing at me in every direction at the same time.

The words are sharp, scratching under my skull, clawing from the inside, like parasitic word-mites.

I can’t stop having the same dream. It’s always the same thing. It’s me in a room with dead people, not zombies, and each one of them take turns biting off pieces of me with their teeth and repeating, “Why did you do it?” While ripping a chunk of my face off.

Why did you do it?” While chewing on my jugular.

Why did you do it..?”

And then I wake up and the voices are standing at the foot of my bed, staring at me, haunting me, making sure I see them, reminding me I haven’t gave them an answer.

Who Would Be Called a Hero

A hero and his companions dived into the chasm to reach the abyss where the Arch-Demon is.
“Well, aren’t you going with us, Randolf?” the hero’s attendant asked the knight beside him.
“I’m sure that we’ll need your help there.”
“I don’t think so,” the knight in shining armor answered.
“To destroy the Arch-Demon himself is a hero’s job, not mine.”
He tucked his chin tightly and said, “Defending is what I’m good at.”
As soon as he finished his words, he jumped and mounted his stallion.
“May luck be with you, mate,” he said.
“I wish you good luck, my friend,” the attendant said, and jumped into the pitch-dark crack.
—
Later, the knight managed to arrive at the fortress, which was surrounded by the triple stone walls. The human defenders were besieged by the Arch-Demon’s army.
The knight had broken through the enemy siege, and had reached right in front of the main gate. He lost his lance, shield and crest on the helmet. His armor had many scratches and dents, and his stallion was exhausted.
“Open the gate, the knight has returned!” he cried. “I serve the Queen!”
“Who dares to call himself my knight? State your name!” a sharp, high voice demanded. She was the queen of this country.
“I’m Randolf the Ram, your Majesty!”
“No, you are not! He must be with the Hero.” the queen shouted, “If you declare yourself my best knight, take off your helmet and show me your face!”
To take off the helmet in front of enemies meant a fatal risk, but the knight raised his hands to the chin strap without any hesitation. He showed his face to his queen.

The queen drew back her chin and tightened her lips.

After a long few seconds, “Open the gate!” she cried out.
“And, give him whatever he wants.” Every man on the wall could hear the catch in her voice.
The knight said, “Just give me a new horse and my lance! Then, I shall sweep away the enemies for the Queen!”
The defenders raised their voice, “For the Queen!”
Riding a new stallion with a long lance in hand, “Save the Queen!” the knight roared. And the warriors rushed out from the main gate, following the knight.
He made a charge at the countless enemies, to protect his Queen.

A statistical manifesto

Not to be taken seriously

Let’s create fear out of mystery. Let’s act as the beacons of hidden knowledge that have the moral upper hand no matter how many times we fail by the same metric. Let’s create a world that does not exist by being stuck on our phones all day. Leave the planet better than we found it. show them darkness is more powerful than lyt? Let’s take power back in our hands when we know we can’t even pay our own electricity bills. (Who needs power?) Let’s show them we are better. A shadow in the light. We are smart, we play the game while everyone out there just living life? We can win this game, even though we get nothing out of it. Let’s make the weak stronggg and the strong weak. W got this

Looking for stories!

I asked the mods and they said I could do this! I'm starting up a podcast where I (and maybe some friends hopefully) read stories. I would like to go into the stories blind. I'm not picky on the length of the stories either. I'll do multipart reads, or I'll do multiple 5 minute reads. Shoot me a dm if you're interested and I'll talk more details there!

Edit: I forgot to add I'm looking for horror/mystery/thriller type stories. It's a pretty loose idea I'm working with so if you're unsure if it fits, go ahead and try anyway.

And I became the father of death

With a Crackrock for a dad and a 16 year old mom who didnt pass middle school.

Made me inhuman and incapable of being something worth the words "I love you"

Made me

I Surrender all my being moments and my past mistakes that keep me up at night and they forever will.

I surrender to all the Warriors and Gods to witnessed my action.

I surrender to you.

Theory of Restraint

He turned his cheek and walked away,

Believing peace would win the day.

But those who watched him from afar

Just wondered where the strong ones are.

They praised his grace, his quiet pride,

As someone else was dragged outside.

To not strike back, they said, is brave —

But silence also digs a grave.

He showed restraint, he held his fire,

They said he’d lifted mankind higher.

Yet while he knelt to prove them right,

The thief returned again that night.

A man forgives, the tale is told,

But what if he just feared the bold?

And what is virtue, calm and meek,

If it protects the ones who sneak?

For every harm that went unmet,

Another rule was quietly set.

And every punch that went unthrown

Made space for tyrants to be grown.

They say revenge just feeds the flame,

But so does never naming names.

If justice hides behind a mask,

Then mercy is a thankless task.

The wisest choose to rise above,

But some confuse neglect with love.

They talk of peace with solemn face,

While chaos moves to take its place.

So strike or not — but know the cost.

Each line not drawn becomes a loss.

For sometimes peace is just delay,

And kindness lets the wolves obey

Confession to My Son

I watch you laugh with a ringing, innocent child’s laugh as you ride a toy train in the supermarket.

To you, it’s a celebration.

I smile and take a few photos on my phone to remember this moment.

I remember myself as a little boy.

I was just as happy, riding a carousel, completely clueless about what was hidden behind my parents' smiles and what awaited me in the distant future — in that big, big world, as it seemed to me then.

And what were we thinking back then?..

You said that getting an abortion was a sin.

But while the world is going mad with wars and crises, is giving life not a sin?

Without even knowing it, we fulfilled the state's birth plan, creating a flimsy cell of society, hanging by a thread until the very first hardship.

You don't know that I was fired from my job yesterday, or that your mother is cheating on me.

And you don’t know that we’ll be blaming each other, dividing up our property, and finding it harder and harder to hide the fights from you, kid…

Then comes the divorce, alimony, weekend visits, and later on, you'll stop asking your mom where dad is.

Your world is your parents and this toy train going in circles.

While adults walk beneath the yoke of routine and obligations, driven insane by its weight.

None of this is your fault.

I look into your pure, innocent eyes and ask for your forgiveness for acting so selfishly — for bringing you into this world.

How did you know I was smoking inside?

Someone was walking closer so I ducked inside and it seemed like incense,

bachelor pad

right now there is good dark coffee and I wake and make more

and I worked all day to finish the garden but the new compost bin is yet disheveled

the strawberries are mostly split into smaller pots

I don't think the poppy are going to make it

I've been thinking a lot about pollinator biomass and how blessed we are to have such vast nettle with which to grow caterpillars. I potted a driveway yarrow.

And the bright full moon came up driving my change and I drank more coffee and smoked inside and the compost bin has structural integrity and the clouds dappled across the moon and I have left the lentils on the stove for 48 hours and they are still good.

I know you're afraid, and soon I will look like I know what I'm doing, garden designed and organized, and that matters a lot.

No Smoking Allowed Later

Women Don't Belong in a Barber Shop

Sally was a four-year-old Golden Retriever. She received her barber’s license a few months ago but just started working at Dan’s Barber Shop last week. The shop was run by a barber named Joe, Dan retired years ago, but Joe kept the name because it’s what their loyal customers were accustomed to.

Until last week there were only two barbers working at Dan’s. It was the best old-fashioned barber shop in town and they had all the hair they could handle. It only made sense to onboard a new barber; the shop had four chairs after all. Some customers preferred Joe, some Floyd, and others didn’t care which man cut their hair; they were both excellent and very experienced.

Brian Dudely had been a customer of Dan’s for several years. 7:30 a.m. every other Thursday for as long as anyone could remember. He had to visit on his way to work because they were long closed by the time he was coming home from work. Dan’s opened at 6 a.m. and almost always had customers waiting when the door opened. The cliental was not entirely retirees, but mostly. Brian was loyal to the shop, not a specific barber. He took a number from the ticket dispenser upon walking in; Joe and Floyd both had customers in their chairs.

“Mornin’ Brian.”

“Mornin Joe.”

“You don’t have to take a number. Sally’s available.”

Brian had not noticed the dog until his direction was directed to her. There she was, standing in front of an empty barber’s chair. She had a lovely pink bow clipped to the fur by her left ear and a pink barber’s apron. Her tongue hung  out of her mouth, panting while waiting for Brian to take a seat.

“Ha! Good one. Is that your dog?”

Joe looked at Floyd, clearly uncomfortable with the question.

“Sally’s a new addition to our team.”

A framed license bearing her image from the Persepolis County Health Department hung on the wall next to the mirror, just like at Joe and Floyd’s stands. There was also a framed certificate from the Persepolis School of Cosmetology above it.

“I’ll wait for one of you guys to be available.”

Sally walked to the back of the shop, grabbed a broom handle in her mouth and started tidying up in between customers. Brian folded his arms across his chest and waited in silence. The lively banter between the barbers, active customers, and future customers was halted after Brian insisted on waiting for one of the male barbers.

When Joe’s chair was free, Brian took a seat. Sally had a customer by then, but Brian didn’t want to ask about her while she was there. He and Joe had brief exchanges that never quite took off. Boy, did they used to have lively conversations about lawncare, weather, and televised sporting events that they had not participated in. But today was different, it was like having a woman in the shop was killing the vibe. Sure, sometimes someone brought their significant other in, or a mother would bring her kid in for a cut; but to have a woman working in such a sacred male space? Brian was already thinking about where else he could get his hair cut.

Looking sharp, fresh even, Brian paid for services rendered and went to work. His day was ruined though. It didn’t have to be, but he let it; no, rather, he insisted on it ruining his day. He made a point of mentioning the faux pas to several co-workers. It’s amazing the time people have to share personal details while they are supposed to be working.

Brian was at the coffee shop near Dan’s early Saturday morning and spotted Joe. He often saw Joe around town.

“Hey Joe” Brian forced a polite smile, but he only smiled with his mouth, not his eyes.

“Hi Brian.”

“Let me ask you something, Joe.”

“It’s about Sally, right?”

“Yeah.”

“We needed help at the shop. She’s a licensed barber. And she’s good! You should really give her a chance.”

“We’ve known each other a long time Joe. Can you keep something between us?”

“Yeah, sure Brian.”

Brian looked around to ensure that no one was close enough to hear, but lowered his voice for good measure.

“I just don’t think women belong in a barber shop. It’s the last space we have left. Now we’ll have to watch out what we talk about. What would I even talk to Sally about?”

“Brian, it’s 2026… times change. And people talk to Sally about all the normal things we talk about in the shop. She’s a great listener on top of being a good barber.”

Brian wasn’t satisfied and changed the topic to something more mundane before bidding Joe a polite farewell… knowing he would never set foot in Dan’s Barber Shop again.

The next, next Thursday rolled around and Brian was due for a haircut. He drove to Marvin’s Barber Shop on the other side of town. It was one of those new metal buildings, Dan’s was a brick-front building in the town square. There was no park, no train museum, no coffee shop, no sidewalk. It had none of the charm of Dan’s. But Sally had ruined it for him, he couldn’t go back.

Marvin’s was locked! The sign, plastic, not a hand-painted wooden sign like at Dan’s, stated that the shop did not open until 9 a.m.

“Nine o’clock?!”

Brian looked around for someone to complain to, but there was no foot traffic like there would have been at Dan’s. Brian drove to work, with unkept hair, ready to tell his coworkers all about this injustice.

He left work and drove at a speed that exceeded the posted limit in order to get to Marvin’s before they closed. He was observed by law enforcement and he paid, dearly. Well, the consequence may be an exaggeration, he received the first citation in the last fourteen years and would have to pay one hundred twenty-six dollars for his crime. He made it to Marvin’s about five minutes before their posted closing time.

Marvin was already closing down the shop, but with obvious irritation, agreed to provide his services to Brian in exchange for money. That’s how businesses work, I hear.

The service and product were adequate, but there was no warm towel, no straight-razor shave on the back of the neck, no ear hair trim. Worst of all, Marvin charged two dollars more than Dan’s did! That would cost an extra one hundred-four dollars annually and disrupt Brian’s morning routine. Brian decided that Sally would just have to go.

A Thursday passed, and then another arrived. That Thursday found Brian back at Dan’s despite having vowed a vow to never return.

“Hey Bri, missed ya two weeks ago. You don’t look too shaggy though.” Joe smirked a knowing smirk, presuming that Brian had visited another barber. One without female staff.

“Yeah, did a little trim myself to keep from looking like a hippie.”

Sally did a little woof. Brian glared at her as he took a seat after pulling a number ticket. All three barbers were providing services to customers.

Sally was the first to finish with her customer. She booped the switch that changed the digital display, one of the few modern devices in the shop, with her snoot. Brian was the only customer waiting, Sally looked at him expectantly with her tail slowly wagging.

“Oh, uh, I’m going to wait for Joe or Floyd.”

“They know how I like my hair.” he quickly added, not necessarily lying.

Sally stood on her hind legs and washed her front paws in the sink by her chair, taking a few laps from the running water. Brian ignored her and tried to join in on the group conversation taking place on the men’s side of the shop. Ensuring no one was looking at him, he removed a concealed dog whistle from his pocket and blew it.

Sally sat down and licked her chops. But then quickly stood back up and resumed sweeping up hair from the floor. Floyd set down his scissors and walked over toward the door. He shook himself out of what seemed like a trance.

“I… I don’t know what happened. Sorry about that, Chuck.” Floyd sheepishly apologized to his customer as he walked back over to his chair, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Floyd had no idea what suddenly came over him. Brian knew. Brian felt bad about it. No one discovered what he had done and he left without further incident.

Another odd Thursday found Brian at Dan’s Barber Shop. Busy as usual, Sally was occupied cutting a customer’s hair. Brian removed a tennis ball from his jacket as he hung it up and found a seat. At the right moment, he released the ball that he had been cupping in his palms. It rolled toward Sally, she saw it; Brian saw that she saw it. Joe also saw it and immediately ran after it, Sally just watched Joe.

“Someone could trip over this.” Joe said as he picked it up, unaware of its source.

“What’s that?” asked Floyd.

“A tennis ball.”

“Is that yours, Sally?”

Finally, it looked like Brian was going to prevail in making her look unprofessional. Sally shook her head. Joe shrugged and set it on the coffee table in the waiting area beside some magazines.

“Strange” he mused, returning to his customer.

That one almost worked. Brian could feel it. He needed to go just a little farther and he’d show them that Sally didn’t belong there.

Brian secured the material needed for the job. But he couldn’t blow his cover, he had to wait until the next, next Thursday to avoid drawing suspicion.

The day arrived. Brian wrapped the weapon in his overcoat and cautiously approached the barber shop. He looked through the front window, three barbers with customers. Like any other weekday morning at Joe’s. He pulled the door open just far enough, then bent down to release the cat he had in his jacket into the shop.

The black and white cat, coincidentally a female, walked in like she owned the place. The cat came to rest at Joe’s feet and lay down, rolling onto her back and pawing Joe’s pantleg. Sally stopped what she was doing and walked over to Joe too.

This is it, Brian thought to himself as he watched what was about to unfold.

Joe looked down, surprised to find a cat. Sally inched closer and… sniffed the cat for a few seconds before going back to her becustomered chair.

Masking his fury, Brian walked in.

Joe looked up at Brian as the bell on the door clattered.

“This your cat?”

“I’ve never seen that cat before!” Brian sounded like he had seen that cat before.

Joe looked around, calculating that the cat had been there before Brian arrived.

“How’d this cat get in here?” Joe asked no one in particular. No one knew.

Two weeks from the failed cat incident, Brian returned to find that the cat was now a resident of the shop. Sally had never chased the cat, not once.

Brian took a number and sat down. Sally knew not to bother booping the ticket number display switch with her snoot. That human always waited for a different barber.

her blank transcendence

Through the interstice between one moment and the next there intruded a wrongness. Cold gaped the gap in time, and things stretched and warped, drifting in the eddies of an outer current.

Her soul was pulled leftward, leaving the husk of her body locked in time’s static pattern. The infinite object of the universe, its trillionth corner etched with the faint motif of all she knew, soon faded, devoured by spaceless distance. Left, left, down and ever left, until such notions of base geometry lost all meaning, and the wordforms gibbered ceaseless and mute as incoherent calligrams in the vacuous environs of the Great Outside.

In the purling tides of a blind phantasmal stream, her soul flowed Lethean. The fragile schema of her being admitted a more porous aspect, memories and perceptions and the deeper faculties for which language keeps no syntax swirled in and out like madly capering eidola. Her mind, endued with motion spawned of an alien causality, bled weird disjointed thoughts into her frothing consciousness.

Abstract, unimaginable thoughts. Strange and vast thoughts that impossibly mangled into forms. Images whose contours neither sight nor space could adumbrate, yet which nonetheless evinced ineffable curves and grotesque aphotic hues with branding clarity, shapes and shades of anticolor floating without frame, their ophidian outlines winding abdimensional like deliriant worms. A livid blank landscape unreal, ripe with lush bizarreries, resolving itself into terribly fathomable verse.

It knew her so well, and she knew nothing of it, yet recognized It instantly.

She saw Its hoary panfamiliar monstrously divine touch in the texture of human history, wefted umbilically through the warp of happenings like a live pulsating lattice, murmuring the cryptic bland ubiquity of being. She brimmed eons with corrosive liquid joy, felt the whip of hateful filaments like the cilia of galaxies scourging manic burning winds to tranquil waves, rippling ecstatically, atoms budding nanosecond bliss immortal, amber-warm with a symmetric admiration for their shared decoupling, something forever now.

Far, a great blot burgeoned on her motionless soulless form, swelling to obscure the conjoinments of her life, until all her was void. The spiraling offshoots of her little presence shriveled grey, marcescent and forgotten, cut from her vital causes. The final ledger of her doings ran black with inky tears, blanching under sooty vapors, quick blown out, traceless like sparks drowned in ocean depths.

And as the object of the universe revolved in the shrieking un-ness of the Great Outside, the nameless soul that once was her found enlightenment.

Drawing out this from me unwillingly, till it draws out some something that who knows what nor for why. If you think you knew me chances are you were wrong. Should I say it again? I was spat out the moon, swirled around and ejected from a pinhole in the icy shell. It was beautiful because I didn’t know it was a moon. I was only spat out into the everything else, until I found out it was vacuum. Then it was lame. Damn I drew this all out too long. Too long.

[NF] A walk

I was walking today - I live in a hilly area. Uphill. Downhill. Uphill. Downhill. Flat. Downhill. An old plump man in his sixties, kind face, with rectangular glasses, was about to get into his car. He gave me a thumbs up - with a gentle smile. I took off one of my earphones anticipating a greeting. He  proceeds to ask me if I'm walking for as a kind of sport. I said yes. He said that's great and encouraged me to do more. As I was about to take off. He seconded with another question. What music are you listening to - Arabic or English? I was listening to playlist called Sonic Journeys. How could I explain this. I told him a mix of everything really. He wanted more and asked such as? I told him classical, rock, reggae.. he excitedly told me he's started listening to Spanish music recently and has absolutely fell in love with it. With phone in hand, I asked him to recommend a song. He said just search for "AI Spanish music mix". I interrupted him - not in a rude way - and said I don't listen to AI music. I use AI everyday but have this strong aversion to AI music. Art should be made by humans. He's 30 years my senior. I always felt I've had a good intuition into people's temperaments. He ranked well. A gentle and kind soul. His mother passed away recently. I asked God to forgive and bless her soul. I wonder if we will ever meet again - but I'm sure we could be friends if such a future encounter presents itself.

I continued my walk...

Walking past houses, I wonder, what they their dream about.

I sat down and wrote some prose on my phone which I then accidentally deleted. Are those words gone forever? Where have they gone? I can recall most of it - but now it has been recycled, reframed and repurposed by my memory.

I talked about how much I love walking and the pleasurable sense of solititude it brings me. Especially early morning walks. Time pauses, space is infinite.

I also talked about the sun, let me see if I can recall the sentence:

"The sun brings warmth to the heart, it brings warmth to the skin, oh sun, big bright far star, your rays enveloping me, from outer space."

I think I prefer the one I wrote before - it's gone now. I wonder how much text was lost throughout history. I wonder how many people have walked the path I am walking now.

Oh yes, I also wrote about cats, birds, trees and Bach. And I wondered why Baroque music - especially Bach - resonate so much within me. I think it was my late grandfather.

I also wrote about the number nine - its shape, its significance and its strange symbolism which had been painted throughout my life.

I am about to arrive home. Walking is good. It stimulates something inside me. Many a brilliant ideas have been born through the act of walking. It's sad how people in this age have become so sedentary. I'm home now. Let's see what happens during the next walk
