Hey guys, me and a buddy are thinking about running Paladin + PP for Reborn Legacy, mostly planning to abuse holy damage on undead spots. Is the bonus holy damage actually worth it to make up for the lower fighter DPS? Also curious about party prospects—we know the PP will easily find a group, but do parties ever actually look for a Paladin/tank, or will getting group invites as a duo be rough? Let me know if this comp is solid or if we'll regret not just rolling a Dark Avenger or standard damage dealer.
Does it even make sense to play LU4 without a premium subscription?
I’ve heard that at higher levels, around 30–40+, nobody wants to take players without a premium account into parties because it supposedly messes up the drops. Is that actually true?
What are your experiences with premium vs. non-premium?
I started playing with a friend on new white server, but this has honestly discouraged me a bit. €50 for 100 days feels like a lot to me, especially since I don’t love the game enough to invest that much into it. On top of that, I only have around 3 hours a day to play because of work and family.
Would love to hear your opinions and experiences.
Hi guys I'm gameless now and considering hopping back on L2. I've always played higher rate servers (x25+ up to x300 on Dex) and I love playing archers and mages. What would you recommend as a viable more solo-ish class for the new upcoming C1 L2 Reborn server along the archer/mage line? Appreciate any help.
I’ve recently launched L2Developers, a project focused entirely on professional development for Lineage II private servers.
The idea is simple: instead of offering only a specific pack or a few scripts, we can develop custom solutions based on what a server owner actually needs.
Some of the things we work on:
• Custom server systems
• NPCs, quests and events
• PvP and PvE features
• AI player and bot systems
• Community Board features
• Websites and control panels
• Launchers, patchers and updaters
• Guards and protection systems
• API, payment and Discord integrations
• Database and backend development
• Bug fixes and performance optimization
• Full server development
We work mainly with Java-based projects such as L2JMobius, aCis and custom sources, across different chronicles.
If you are a server owner and have an idea, even if you don't know exactly how it should be implemented technically, feel free to contact us. We can evaluate the concept and propose a solution.
Everdream is a simulated MMORPG experience for Lineage 2. Play alongside 7,500 simulated player "bots" - as single player or on our official servers, for free. Conjure 9 man hunting parties, command sims, explore 3,750+ sim-owned buy and sell shops, and embark on an epic adventure filled with sims in every faucet of life.
Join the Discord community today and become a part of the dream: Bring Lineage 2 to life the way you remember it, forever.
Just wanted to share a website called Tierbis that I’ve been using / playing around with.
It’s basically a tier list website made specifically for Lineage 2. You can make tier lists for classes, but also for party setups, clan setups and command channel setups, which I haven’t really seen done properly on the usual tier list sites.
It also has class guides and a section where you can find L2 servers, so everything is kind of in one place.
The main thing I like about it is that it actually uses Lineage 2 class icons and stuff, instead of having to use generic tier list templates that don't really work for L2.
You can also share your tier lists with a snapshot/image or simply share a link, so it's easy to post them on Discord, Reddit, forums, Whatsapp/Telegram, etc...
Pretty useful for:
* Players comparing classes
* Streamers making tier lists
* Party leaders making party setups
* Clan leaders planning setups
* People arguing about which class is actually S-tier 😂
If you're into making tier lists for L2, might be worth checking out: https://tierbis.com
Some examples that I did of previous servers I played:
Hey guys, a friend and I decided to hop onto Reborn Legacy. We know the server is heavily balanced around full party play and that playing duo puts us at a disadvantage, but with our schedules, duo is what we'll be doing most of the time.
Our current plan is to kick things off with a spoiler setup, hit a profitable level to build up some adena and materials, and then switch over to our actual main characters. I’m really leaning towards maining a Phantom Summoner because the Shadow’s built-in vampiric makes sustain and grinding super smooth with basically zero downtime.
My main hesitation is party viability later on. I know Warlocks and Elemental Summoners get picked up way easier for party buffs, so I'm wondering if rolling a PS will completely lock me into solo/duo play forever, or if it's still possible to find groups for mid/late-game PvE.
Also, any recommendations on solid PvE and spoil routes for a two-man setup would be awesome.
Some of you may seen me in Reborn Signature server as "Gunslinger.
Now I am planning to do the same content in the upcoming server Reborn Legacy on https://www.patreon.com/cw/Jacobfrom3 (for you know, innova reasons). Videos ofc are free and will be uploaded here. If you are interested you can follow be there.
Can't wait for the server to start, see you guys in-game 🔥 WHAT WILL YOU PLAY IS THE QUESTION?
Hey everyone,I’m planning to start on Reborn Legacy (the new progressive server from Reborn that starts in Chronicle 1 on November 6th and goes all the way to High Five over ~5 years).I’ll be playing mostly solo. What I’m looking for:
Good in PvP (I enjoy it a lot)
Able to do pretty much all content (farming, raids, sieges, olympiad, etc.)
Not too complicated / micro-intensive
Preferably not too expensive to gear and maintain (shots, arrows, etc.)
I’ve been hesitating between these classes so far:
Destroyer
Spellhowler
Hawkeye / Silver Ranger / Phantom Ranger (a bit worried about arrow + soulshot costs)
Which one would you recommend for a mostly solo player who still wants to be relevant in PvP?Any experience with these classes on progressive/low-rate servers would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Guys I found this server with not many and not to low players for l2 even bit the project and the server is really good and have a lot of fun I think it’s a great server to start healthy environment. I hope to see more people jumping in this server . Anyone that want to start here I recommend it 100% lets go and make some more people there
I played all kinds of mmorpg in the past 15 years (ever since I got my first gaming pc), but one of the few that I never really got to play was lineage 2. I played a LOT of archeage back in the release for the first 2 years, and always heard people saying that it was the spiritual sucessor of L2.
Now, after getting tired of BDO, WOW and XIV (more than 1.5k hours into each of those), also didn't enjoyed GW2/ESO/OSRS, I wanted to try L2.
For someone like me, which server would be the recommended? Playing on an official server, or a very populated PServer? In case of the second option, which server to choose?
Thanks in advance!
I recently started playing LU4 again. I first played on Carmine, but the server feels noticeably less populated and the in-game economy/trading seems much slower, so I decided to move to Black.
Black feels way more populated and active, which I really like. The problem is that almost every random party I join speaks Russian, and communication can be pretty difficult.
I’ve been reading older posts here and saw several people saying that White was basically the main international/English-speaking server, while Black had a much larger Russian-speaking population.
For those playing the new Black / White / Carmine servers right now:
Is White still the main English/international server?
How does White’s population compare with Black?
Is the economy and trading activity on White also healthy?
Are random parties generally easier to find in English?
Are there active English-speaking clans/CPs?
If you were starting from scratch today and wanted a high-population server with an active economy and mostly English communication, would you choose White or Black?
I’m from Chile, so Carmine initially made sense for me, but I don’t mind playing on an international server at all. I actually prefer English if it means having a larger and more active community.
Hey everyone! 👋 I'm excited to finally share a server I've been building for the past two years and invite you all to the AgeOfGiants Open Alpha, launching on August 28! You can register here: https://ageofgiants.com
What is AgeOfGiants?
A fully reimagined Lineage II Essence with enhanced gameplay, deeper RP, and more fun
PvP-focused gameplay, with the option to play more peacefully in a Neutral faction
4 factions: Light, Dark, Rogues, and Neutral, with players voting for their leaders and lords
16 unique classes with no race restrictions (switch between three classes on the fly)
Redesigned progression and locations, with multiple new gameplay mechanics
No P2W
Canonical Lore: Aden is still ruled by the Giants, while a detachment of warriors is sent from Gracia
More About the Features
⚔️ Unlike many similar projects, where you cannot change race, faction, etc., in AgeOfGiants, to become a Noblesse you need to collect marks from all four factions. And you can change faction every three days. PvP and PK mechanics have also been completely reworked.
🪄 Skills are more closely aligned with each class, with a more meaningful and thematic approach to abilities. The goal is to make each class feel distinct not only in combat, but also in terms of its role and identity in the world. Check out classes on Instagram(Witch video coming soon, along with more in-game features)
🍀 Alchemy is a crafting system that allows players to create potions, elixirs, runes, and other enhancement items. Ingredients can be obtained by hunting monsters, opening treasure chests, and gathering flowers throughout the world.
🛠 Refined Craft – completely reworked item crafting starting from Grade A, making the system more RP-friendly and giving crafting a more meaningful role in the world. You'll also have to do a little pickaxe work!) ⛏️
🧙 Masteries are unique skills that remain with your character even when switching factions or classes. They are learned from special NPCs in safe zones and faction towns, with each Mastery requiring specific items to unlock.
💫 Soul Eating allows players to collect souls from defeating enemies in PvP and battles. Each player can hold up to 100 Light Souls and 100 Dark Souls, which can be exchanged for various equipment and buffs. It's actually not so bad to die in battle either – you'll receive a Soul Shard, which is required for crafting rare equipment 😉
🧚♀️ Multiple enhancement systems, including accessories and jewelry with a wide range of character-build possibilities, faction equipment, combat pets and mounts that can significantly impact gameplay.
✨ Inspired by the best ideas from Lineage II C1-C3, Lineage 2: Revolution, Black Desert Online, Silkroad Online, Perfect World, TES III Morrowind, anime titles, and more. The result is, hopefully, an immersive experience with a rich story, carefully crafted classes, and, of course, pixel-perfect visuals :)
Main Quest
The Main Quest unlocks at Level 80 and is an essential part of the game. By completing it, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the AgeOfGiants lore, which is built upon and expands the original Lineage II lore.

I'll share more features and screenshots in the comments! Feel free to ask questions, share your thoughts or make suggestions :)
TL;DR
Lineage II was the first MMORPG I really got into, and I've played through every era – from C1 all the way to GoD, and later Classic and Essence. Over the years I kept thinking about what I would change if I had the chance to build my own version of that world. Playing other games along the way also gave me plenty of ideas and inspiration. So… eventually, I decided to do exactly that)
One of the things that always bothered me about modern L2 is that a lot of the really interesting content eventually becomes something primarily experienced by the biggest alliances. If you're not part of one of them, it's easy to feel like you're just watching the game happen around you.
I want to give players a world built around the things that made the original Lineage II special: the love for the game, meaningful PvP, strong class identity, progression that actually feels like progression, clan politics, alliances, rivalries, sieges and large-scale conflicts.
I'm not expecting everyone here to like it, and I definitely don't claim to have figured out how to make the perfect MMORPG. That's why I want to build AgeOfGiants as a community project, shaped and crafted together with the players.
This is a long-term project, and it was actually pretty hard to ship because I had to leave many features for future updates – caravans yes)), new clan content, and much more)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I'd love for you to join and help shape AgeOfGiants together! ❤️
Faction Lords, with Leaders looking a little more fancy :)
