Alright, first we must put on our Dragonite foil hats as we currently have nothing but our own speculations. I know people have brought up the Ascendance color scheme and related that to magnetism before, but with the recent TGS demo being confirmed to have a (Returning Elder Dragon) I’ve really been racking my brain around who this challenging returning elder could be.

I know it sounds like a long shot to immediately call it out as being Rukodiora, but the more I think of it, the less any other elder makes sense to me.

I don’t feel like we’ll be seeing Kushala or Lao as they’ve already been confirmed in the trailer, and I don’t think they’d leave it till the day before the TGS demo to reveal who it will be if we already know they’re there.

I don’t think it’ll be any new Gen 5 elders either, as having any of them be the “challenging quest” for this brand new expansion just feels kind of weird? I don’t know.

The next MOST likely I could see would be Shagaru Magala as Wilds has basically been a soft MH4 part 2, and I could definitely see Shaggy popping in to be a good challenger (9 star gore is still pretty scary on his own)

I could also see it being Valstrax maybe, but anyway let me know what you guys think about the (Returning Elder Dragon)

I was going to go further in depth why I don’t think it could be Teostra/Lunastra/Chameleos, but I think I’d end up making an essay, and I’ll leave some discussion for the rest of you.

Hey so why I keep seeing people hitting monsters with all those giant dragon effects? Im running the same exact build as them but the dragon effect when I hit monsters are waaay smaller even when hitting weak points

Edit: I thought I was running the exact same build but I swapped arkveld gamma's chest piece for the waist plate and it doesnt have convert element like someone pointed out below.

Hey everyone ! I was thinking of a charge blade build that focuses mostly on guard points and immediate SAEDs as the core play style ! Any input for this would be appreciated ! Probably Guard (/Up), Offensive Guard... does Counterattack work with guard points ? And a elemntal CB ? Anyway any Input would be helpful !

Any recommendations to improve what I got so far? Just wanted to know if I should prioritize 4 set Gore or this WEX/Gore hybrid too. I recently just got back into playing Wilds again and grinded before the Gogmazios quest.

After 100h of pure Swaxe gameplay, it feels good to go back to the flippy floppy IG, fast and satisfactory, I love this weapon (still in love with the swag axe tho).

I’m trying to learn the charge blade but whenever I pull off a double rend, it sends me backwards just far enough to miss every swing in my SAED except the last. Is there a way to animation cancel the end or something so I can stay up and forwards in the monsters face? Especially since the double rend often knocks them back

Hi im just wondering what the best quests to grind on for getting to and preparing to fight Gogmazios?? Ive been grinding on the tempered Gravios + Ajarakan quest but i just wondered if their is another way to get their quicker

I'm coming off of playing Lance in Rise so I decided to pick it up here and I feel like it's definitely taking some getting used to. I'm not sure if I should be focusing on using Perfect Guard or Charge Counter, and I feel like most of my counter attacks miss anyway because the monster just moves out of the way before it connects. I'm also not sure how Charge Counter works exactly, from what I understand you're supposed to release it before the monster attack lands to parry it? Any advice would be appreciated.
