I received my grants today which were automatically deposited into my bank account. However when I check my fees for mymru, it still shows that I have to pay the semester tuition , even though I had been approved for loans.

Is this stuff just moving slower this year around, but previous years I would get an email by early August letting me know how much exact tuition was getting paid for by my loans.

Basically the title. I'm in my second year of English and, to my knowledge, I have completed 4/10 GNEDS required as per my degree requirements. I'm trying to get some electives out of the way this year, but I've noticed on schedule builder that all courses im taking have a section under them saying "course attribute, GNED cluster....". Even the course I intended to be my elective has this. What does this mean? Does a course need to have a GNED prefix for it to fulfill a GNED requirement or is there something I'm not sure of? This is 100% a question I would be asking my advisor but they haven't responded to my appointment request I sent in September 2025, and I think I might like femboys. Thanks.

I’m planning to apply to the Bachelor of Education - Elementary program at MRU.

I know the website lists the competitive average range around the mid-80s to 90s, but from what I’ve read online, it seems like the actual cutoff might be even higher.

For those who got accepted recently (or if you know someone who did), could you share what average (based on your top 2 Group A courses) got you in?

Any insights would be super helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have my first class this Friday but its still not showing on my D2L shell? is this normal that out of my 3 courses for this sem only one is showing to be available? thank you!

For anyone else, have you noticed that despite the fall tuition payment deadline passing and us being unable to add ourselves to waitlists since, the waitlists are still considered active for those who are on them instead of totally dissolved like they usually are, meaning we can’t do the usual free-for-all for courses? Anyone know when might they clear them this time around?

They sold out so quickly:,) am I just going to have to pay daily? Is there any other options for me?

How likely am I to get into Stasha Huntingford’s GNED 1303 if the class is already full? Do people usually drop before the semester starts or is it unlikely?

If I drop one class before the Sept 14 deadline and change my schedule down to 4 courses, what do I need to do?
Since the government is already sending the money for 5 classes tomorrow, how do I get the refund for the dropped class? Do I just fill out the MRU Course Load Change form?

is it normal to randomly lose a class and they don’t even tell you? i’m in ueo and they randomly emailed saying i don’t have enough courses and i found out that one of my classes is gone it was effective learning with courtenay riben like maybe the class is gone but they couldn’t even say anything?

there weren’t enough rate my professor reviews for professor ally king to decide between the two and i was wondering if anyone had any input on her that they’d be willing to share 🫶

i struggle with taking afternoon classes as my focus tends to die down and so that’s the main reason as to why i’m leaning more towards prof king. however, i’m wondering if it’s worth staying with solinas considering she has a lot of great reviews. solinas curriculum includes a group project worth 50% and apparently you aren’t able to choose your group mates. as an open studies student, my gpa for this fall semester is incredibly important so i’m a little worried.

will likely try looking at other professors as well if spots open up but so far a lot of the classes are full 💔
