There is an unimportant little lesson on how the french pronounce some letters and how the rest of the world finally understood how to pronounce them that I wish I still could point people to, because it's so interesting.
I first heard about it when we had to learn how to form our mouths to say the letter "K" in french. For years the best Americans could say was close to "Koo", but the reality was "Key" while making an "OOH" mouth. I'm sure I'm butchering it but it was fascinating to me how mouths and words are formed.
