My family owns a kfc - we often would throw an extra chicken tender and like a few extra whole wings in buckets we sold, particularly close to closing. People LOVED when we did it.

Growing up in Louisiana, we called that “lagniappe.”

This is mind blowing 🤯 we do it in Venezuela 🇻🇪 too and we call it “La ñapa” which means and is pronounced the same way!

Well more recently with all the crisis going on vendors say “la ñapa se acabó” meaning “lagniappe is over”.
