I don't know why nobody is talking about this. We rightfully complain about products being reformulated and not being as good, the massive price increases and the lack of fun products. Why is nobody complaining about the fact that multiple companies are not currently selling LIPSTICK?!?!?! I was at Shoppers Drugmart today looking for lipstick. There wasn't much. I don't mean a bunch of lipstick was sold out. I mean lipstick was not part of the offerings. Essence is not selling lipstick. Annabelle is not selling lipstick. Revolution is not selling lipstick. Physican's Formula is not selling lipstick. I thibk Rimmel had a small selection. NYX is not selling lipstick. These companies are focusing on things like jelly glosses. Lipstick never stopped being popular. You're lucky if they have a bold liquid lipstick. WHERE IS THE LIPSTICK?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!

The Anastasia Brow Primer pencil is essentially a colourless wax pencil with a matte finish. It is intended to hold the brows in place and allow more colour to stick when filling in - but I only use it for the hold.

I have tried a clear mascara, but I don't like the shiny finish from the gel.

Can anyone suggest a Canadian (or non-american) product that would hold my brows in place with a matte finish?

Hello! I am currently using the Lise Watier Perfection All-Over Skin Blurring Concealer, and it makes my eyes water for hours. I thought it was my sunscreen or just allergens, but I was all fine before I started using it. :(

Would love to hear your suggestions. Preferrably something I can just get from Shoppers Drug Mart.

Does anyone remember an old Quo Beauty lipstick that was discontinued??

I’m medium olive skin, I care about ingredients and I love tints as they are long lasting . I’m looking for a brown tint I can use on my cheeks for a bronzy look. Thank you!

I've always done my best eyeliner using a water activated eyeliner cake pot things. I don't know their official name but I think the one I have is SUVA. Since they're water activated, they're not water proof so any wings I do always smug away at the end of the day (I have oily skin). I'm trying to find an eyeliner that has the same consistency (maybe even brush?) but is waterproof and can last ALL day.

I've tried other eyeliner pens, gel eyeliner, expensive brands, drug store brands, everything. I just can't get the same look or control. Maybe it's the formula, maybe it's the brush, I'm not completely sure...

As much as I would like to choose a Canadian brand, I'm okay if it is, as long as it isn't American.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have tiny, sparse eyebrows due to a medical condition (though due to my age, most people assume I was a victim of the fashionable overpluck lol). A few weeks ago, I got my brows laminated. Although it took a minute to get used to, I do appreciate that it made my brows look so much thicker. The only issue I had at the time was that my sensitive skin was not happy about the process.

As the new hair grows in and the lamination eases, they are looking pretty squirrely 😅

I bought some clear brow wax that promised a 16-hour hold, but I'm lucky if I get 16 minutes.

Any recommendations for something that can better hold the new growth in place?

I’ve been able to find solid non-US alternatives for most of my faves with no real issue, but cannot find anything that even comes close to my beloved Jane powder foundation. It has spf and smooths everything perfectly, hides redness, is not cakey, doesn’t sit in lines and just looks better as the day goes on…. Does anyone have a powder foundation that compares?

I bought a MAC lipstick in Warm Teddy from Sephora yesterday and I'm obsessed with it. Disaster struck when I went out last night, and I already lost the cap. Is there any chance they’d let me exchange it for a new one, or am I stuck with a lidless lipstick? 😃

Used to use it often under my eyes for a little sparkle on regular days. I'd prefer a champagne colour by pryonwas nice too. Recently found my old one dried and tried to look it up but I heard they are discontinuedm anything similar?

Specifically prefer something with a thin tip like it, and in liquid. Not interested in a cream stick or stuff like that. Would prefer Canadian for obvious reasons ;)

just a heads-up that your Sephora order is about to get more expensive, so if you needed any more motivation to buy Canadian brands, they just got cheaper (in comparison to American options)!

Was at Shoppers Drug Mart and noticed Indeed Labs dropped almost their entire skincare line to $14.99 or less. And apparently it’s a permanent price change, not a sale??

Kind of refreshing considering it feels like every drugstore skincare brand has been going in the opposite direction lately lol.

Has anyone else noticed this / tried any of their stuff?
