I only see a lovely train doing its job in this image. However, think of the cost of the transitional surgeries, eek.

Looks like one of those fancy trackless trams they have in Brisbane.

I thought so too. But the wheel wells are visible. Covering the exposed wheels transforms a traditional bus into a sleek, capsule of futuristic travel.

Back in the day some of the trains and buses used to be quite up themselves, used to go around declaring they were "special". They don't do it as often now, I wonder if their self esteem has dropped?

I was on a Dysons-branded Rail Replacement bus in Brisbane the Sunday before last (I believe now owned by Kangaroo Airlines). They hadn't even removed this sign.

That's Newmarket station right there. I saw a truck hit the bridge while I was waiting at the station. Lots of sparks from an electrical box at the end of the station, then more when the truck tried to back out. Lucky for him it didn't do a can opener to the top of the truck. It stopped both trams and trains for a couple of hours

This vehicle chooses to identify as a train.

Nobody wants your trains-phobia around here mate.

I’ll take a wild guess and say it’s going to a train station 🚉

It's running a rail replacement service (note the paper signs in the windscreen) with the destination board flipping between "Train" and "Replacement".

It says it right there on the sign. Are you questioning the sign? What qualifications do you have in train identification? Huh? Answer meeeee!!!!

It doesn't matter what it looks like, just what it identifies as.

If the bus wishes to identify as a train, I think we should all respect that
