New to me fake trench gun (and bonus parts kit)
I've been wanting a trench shotgun for a while and knew I'd never have a real one. Luck smiled upon me and I ran into a fella who had one he didn't want and wanted a rifle I had that but didn't want. Little negotiation, some cash on top, and we both wound up happy. It's a 1914 manufactured receiver, I'm told the barrel is a factory correct trench gun barrel, no hack job, made in 1944. I'm looking into replacing the stock, this one has some cracks forming, I'd like to lose the recoil pad, then inlet it for a sling swivel. Now I'm on the hunt for a 1917 bayonet for it.
Bonus picture of my cetme C parts kit, gonna be my first reweld. Initially planned to do a cetme 2077 but I think I'm up to building it right once rtg gets the weldment kits back in stock.
Also I finally have a tree with nice rustic metal bits around it for glamor shots, which is nice!
