Hi guys, I'm trying to mod SSBU using the fitgirl repack, but for whatever reason, it doesn't work.. I followed a tutorial and when I went to install mods the game just black screens and doesn't load. Help would be great, thanks

Genghis Khan on the NES was the first strategy game I really got into as a teenager. Years later, I taught my 11 year old son and 9 year old daughter to play. Our problem is that the game map is too small, and the population/item/food/gold being capped out at 999 is too restrictive. Is there a way the map can be expanded a bit and these caps increased? I'm a total caveman when it comes to electronics, but my son is pretty computer savvy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I should add we have been playing in a browser-based version of the game, don't know if that matters.

TL;DR: We rebuilt the useful parts of DataCtrlLink as a smaller, open-source addon. It mounts modded .cak archives and supports custom-music packages without loading arbitrary .asi, .dlp, or DLL plugins.

After auditing the original addon design, we reconstructed the functionality we actually needed with a narrower security boundary.

Secure DataCtrlLink:

• Validates and mounts .cak archives from the game’s mods folder.
• Validates and registers Custom*.pck music packages.
• Reconstructs the intended custom-music event bank in memory.
• Forwards DirectInput calls to the real Windows System32 library.
• Checks the complete game executable hash before calling version-specific game functions.
• Fails closed when the installed game build is unsupported.
• Does not search for or execute arbitrary native plugins.

How it was produced

The implementation was independently reconstructed for interoperability through controlled testing, observable behavior, original coding, and openly available tools.

The public repository does not contain proprietary game source code, extracted game assets, WWE 2K26 executables, Oodle libraries, previous addon binaries, memory captures, runtime dumps, or decompiler projects.

The code, security controls, tests, build automation, and documentation are available for anyone to inspect.

Important compatibility warning

This release is version-locked to the exact WWE 2K26 Steam executable documented in the repository. It will not blindly call internal addresses after a game update.

This is intended for local/offline modding. It is not an anti-cheat bypass. Back up your files, confirm the published checksum, and only use mods from sources you trust.

Recently i have been trying a couple things on steam that required me to mess around with my save files, those being creating a resource pack for terraria to change a sound effect, and transfering my brotato save file from the Xbox PC app to steam. I followed tutorials for the terraria pack, and i asked gemini for help to move my save file. But despite me doing everything i was told and even double checking everything multiple times, both things failed. However if i look back at the code that i was told too put in, it matches what it's supposed to look like, but it doesn't have the effects it should. Does anyone know why? Is it my coomputer, my steam or am i possibly doing something wrong?

Hi so I seen fivem it’s a mod it’s cool so I want to make my own version of it and make it playable I have the base code down networking and all the good stuff. I just need some help understand somethings. Also when gtg 6 comes out I want to make it playable for that as well like nta did when making fivem it started on gta 4 then reversed it to gta v that’s my plan. Naming it something else of course and not using there code. I think it would make for a really cool way to watch movies or something with your friends! I'm not really well versed in modding/messing with game files so idk if this would be as simple as replacing the end credits mp4 with your own file (from the very brief search I did I couldn't find an mp4 for it so I'm thinking it must be saved in another format).

I cant find anything online explaining how except for the things needed. Unhollowerbaselib, stuff like that. I've tried everything. UniverseLib and melonpreferencesmanager and unhollowerbaselib but I'm not sure on where to put them in my folder, or what versions I need, or ML versions. I know it is possible though since I got it to work a few months ago before I uninstalled the game. I was able to get it working in an hour last time but now I can't get it working and its been 3 days. Any help?
