Celebration! Mom, I passed my written exam on the first try!
I procrastinated on studying it for awhile before the test (oh no!)— I tried to pull my strings together 3 days before it and I surprisingly passed with an 85 (Luckily it was mostly review)!
For a long time during my earlier high school years, I was pushed by my Dad to start learning how to drive at 16 but I wasn’t in the right mental state. I wasn’t friends with the right people and I was in distress for so long that I thought I wasn’t capable at anything, including driving (Don’t worry, I’m not friends with them anymore). I’m also neurodivergent, so my anxiety around it- worrying I will hurt somebody was high :(.
But here I am, 18 y/o and very determined learning how to drive and planning soon to do my drivers exam next week. Wish me luck, Moms!
Mom, are you proud of me? I don’t expect much but thank you in advance! Mom, I’m sorry if I’m ranting a lot, I have a habit of doing so :’).
