Having 5 dolls in line-up while 2 of the are PINK and one of them is a SUN witch makes no sense. So naturally I'm going to customize Rae (I'm not sure if I'll be customizing others in the future... tho not Carina, my girl is perfect).

I wanted to keep cohesion between 5 of them so in a way her pink and purple sheme "had" to stay, it just needs some yellow so in my version her pink and purple along with added yellow would create an illusion of a sunset.

I've edited 3 versions (last one is her original look for reference). I'm still not sure how I'll handle hair since ordering one will be expensive. I have some lightly curled yellow strands so I guess they'll do. And I've never painted on fabric cuz I'm afraid the fabric will get crunchy with paint on.

So please help me choose the best look for her and if you have some customizing tips please share 🧡

I'm having this debate with a friend. I know Ghoulia is generally inspired by the pin-up aesthetic, and I think that's really obvious in pretty much all of her other outfits.

But when it comes to her Basic 1 outfit specifically, I personally think it looks much more scene/emo than pin-up. He completely disagrees with me.

I do see a few pin-up references in the outfit, but the overall design, styling, and silhouette make me think of a scene/emo look much more than a classic pin-up look.

If anyone knows what Ghoulia's Basic 1 style is actually called (or what fashion style it was inspired by), let me know so I can finally settle this debate 😭

I am working on my first custom doll. Painting the body w watered down acrylic went fine, but on the face it was a huge struggle to get it to apply evenly and in the end it was sort of peeling off so I’m going to redo it. Is there something I need to be doing to prep the head? am i just a victim of low quality paint? this is just the skin tone base layer, not the faceup

A G1Toralei that I want is missing an arm and I wonder if I buy her, can I buy any other, cheap G1Toralei and the arm colour will match? If not, is there somewhere I can find out, some chart or something? Thanks in advance for any advice 😊🙏🏼

I found these at target for $3 each! They’re so cute and perfect for my display. The fireplace is going in clawdeens room. The gothic window will be used as a chair or bed for count fab in dracs room.

Lovely Claire de Luna and Carina Song with all their supplies for magical studies. I loved the set, but couldn't afford all of them on my budget. So I got one for light and one for dark, to represents both sides of the divine feminine!

I haven’t scene much of Gen 3 besides music videos, but in them we see she has razor sharp teeth, she looks so cool, and I love this detail, but where do they go normally. Does she canonically always have them but the model doesn’t show it? Does she have two rows that can swap places? Or does she eat her flat teeth and then grow sharp ones like a cookie cutter shark? (At least according to Octonaunts those eat their own teeth) I would love to hear your takes.

I don’t know if this is the right place to post this but I just HAD to geek about this somewhere!!! So I managed to get the new Monster High x American Girl Frankie doll and oh my ghoul am I ecstatic!!! I’ve been a huge fan and follower of MH since I was a little kid but I’ve also been a huge fan of American Girl. Never had an American Girl growing up though because of how expensive they are. I always wanted one and all the accessories and cute play sets but was just never able to afford them. WELL fast forward in time and I am now an adult, with adult money 😈 I have been saving for this ever since I’ve heard of it and I am so beyond happy and grateful to be able to get this one doll. Not only is it my childhood dream to have an American Girl but it’s even better since it’s literally of my favorite MH character!? Literally so shocked like omg!!! I cannot wait for her to arrive and will probably cry tears of joy when I get her 😭🖤🤍💚💙

draculara did get me back into monsterhigh over two years ago and I’m grateful for that. When I was deciding who to get first it was either going to be Draculara or Catty ( who I recently got ). They’re both so precious to me.

Hi everyone! I 22F just got a Monster High Doll after not having one since I was 8. It makes me so happy that I can now buy toys I had as a little girl that are long gone since I grew up in a very volatile house and moved a lot. Just wanted to share!
