I finished this cosplay recently for DragonCon! I used the design notes to get the graphics for the dress and shroud, recreated and vectorized them so I could cut out heat transfer vinyl on my cricut to apply to the fabrics. This was a lot of fun to do, and I wanted to share with other people who might be monster high collectors like I am! I haven’t received my preordered scarah doll yet but when she comes in I plan to take better photos with her!

I found these at target for $3 each! They’re so cute and perfect for my display. The fireplace is going in clawdeens room. The gothic window will be used as a chair or bed for count fab in dracs room.

I only display one doll per character because I have limited space, and honestly, I love swapping their clothes around anyway. 😭
Of all the Lagoonas I own, refresh 2 is definitely my favorite when it comes to her face and hair, so she’s the one I chose to display. However, we all know she has those gorgeous painted gradient legs, and I really didn’t want to wait for them to slowly chip away over time.
So I decided to swap her body with a Gore-Geous Oasis, since I also LOVE the leg designs on that doll. And somehow, the “surgery” was a success! 😂
I just wanted to share because I think she turned out so good. I feel like I basically combined my favorite parts of both dolls into my perfect Lagoona. 🩵

Dracula was gone, Frankenstein’s creature and Mummy had 2-3 left on shelf! Moonspell was on an end cap!

As an English Lit student who had Bram Stoker’s Dracula as one of my main focus texts, I am absolutely in love. Dare I say her face is significantly better than the original Skullector?!

What are your collection confessions

I haven’t scene much of Gen 3 besides music videos, but in them we see she has razor sharp teeth, she looks so cool, and I love this detail, but where do they go normally. Does she canonically always have them but the model doesn’t show it? Does she have two rows that can swap places? Or does she eat her flat teeth and then grow sharp ones like a cookie cutter shark? (At least according to Octonaunts those eat their own teeth) I would love to hear your takes.

Been recollecting for almost a year now and this is how my collections been looking so far, with my most recent addition of basic lagoona (for 100💔)

Lovely Claire de Luna and Carina Song with all their supplies for magical studies. I loved the set, but couldn't afford all of them on my budget. So I got one for light and one for dark, to represents both sides of the divine feminine!

what is your far out there, would never happen, but would absolutely thrill you if it did skullector doll?

mine is something from the fatal frame series, my favorite horror games. definitely wouldnt happen as fatal frame is niche enough anyway.

on a more possible note, a resident evil skullector would be awesome! i remember them asking about game skullectors once, and resident evil would be the most possible. i’d love a silent hill one as well but its probably in the same boat as fatal frame.
