I’m trying to help my little sister, who is a Moroccan artist and really passionate about painting.She creates different kinds of artwork, including portraits, family portraits,Arabic calligraphy, pet portraits, and custom paintings based on people’s photos or ideas etc….
For anyone here who knows the art community:
What would be the best way for a young independent artist from Morocco to share her work and connect with people who genuinely appreciate art?
Are there any Reddit communities where artists can post their work or receive commissions? And are there other platforms that you would recommend for Moroccan artists?
I’m her brother, and I’m only trying to help her find the right communities and learn how artists normally promote their work online.

As a 28M, living in Morocco, I just wanted to drop a reminder that all pain is valid and help is out there, I know that not everyone can go to therapy regularly like some of us do and that society stigmatizes mental health, especially for men.

Wanted to say that you are not alone, and I also want to take the opportunity to remember the lives lost to s*icide and honor them, and honor you if you are struggling in any form and still continue to show up everyday, in school, at work or simply out of your bedroom.

men die by s*icide at more than two times the rate of women globally

Although our healthcare system (public or private) insurances do not cover therapy/talk sessions, they only do so if done with a Doctor/MD, which is something that I wish it changes in Morocco are mental health is of equal importance to physical health

you are never alone, no matter how heavy the darkness feels. there is always hope, and there is always help, you can reach out to someone you trust, to me as a complete stranger, if you are in Casablanca and feeling down or low of any kind and need a stranger to listen, im available and im sure many are as well

I found this little calico kitten outside meowing distressingly and decided to bring her inside for the time being. She's very friendly and playful and didn't even try to scratch me when I picked her up.
I gave her a small bath using only water because I noticed she was hurt around her tail, so I avoided using any products on her because I didn't want to accidentally make it worse.

Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to keep her as I'm away from home for around 12-13 hours a day, and I'm also currently too broke to properly take care of her, including vet care.
I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in adopting her and giving her a proper home.

People in northern Morocco probably see it as normal, but for someone coming from the south, it genuinely feels futuristic.

Hello ! I'm a teacher in the public sector and this will be my 9th year on the job. Ive noticed something over the years and it really upsets me. Unfit teachers are extremely common in the public sector, i may aswell be one of them since most of us didnt really get much education (i have a literary masters degree and im fully aware that the educational system in Morocco is terribly flawed and most people have degrees that don't really represent their actual knowledge) but most of us learn on the job and i absolutely notice my own progress with each passing year. The issue that bugs me is the MENTALLY unfit teachers. Every year there is always at least 2 or 3 teachers who work with me and they're very clearly mentally ill. As you know, there is a stigma around people who take medication for mental problems so most people just rawdog their depression/disorder. Teaching is the very last job where that can be tolerable. Ive been working with a few teachers who clearly suffer from major disorders and everyone is aware of this including managament and they literally can't do anything about this because once you pass an extremely easy written test and a 10 minute oral exam, that's it. Nobody can fire you unless you physically harm someone (which happens all the time and its still not taken seriously and covered up) or commit major crime. So these teachers are responsible for so many students' misery. They act manically and habitually harm students either by acting nuts in the classroom or targeting specific students to make their lives miserable. It makes me truly upset especially when i hear the people who are in charge of the school (like the principal for example) saying things like " wa flan ntoma 3arfino mskin machi hwa hadak ma3ndna mandiro". That teacher can fight with management and yell and act crazy and they still dont do anything because they dont want to cause that teacher further harm. They feel pity. Being used to corporate work, stress, big numbers, employees here and there, grey office, commuting, worrying about career, rent, life, expenses, world news, complicating life

Then i was shocked when i saw how people live and work in the old Medina in Fes, it's like a parallel world, slow life, craftsmen working slowly without getting bored the whole day, they don't care if they make 20 50 100dh that day, he s just working crafting art with patience, no rush at all, takes a break for prayer, break for small talk, another break for atay, i am just amazed by these people how they are so calm, slow, disconnected from world problems

He was in a​ dire need of help​ and was going to die of starvation, I managed to get him an actual place to stay and enough money for him to last a month until he finds a job, I thank anyone who offered their hands to help, even if undirectly.

We should all l​earn from this, let this story be a cautionary tale about how easy for anyone​ to fall from grace in this countery, this​ is why people want to leave this place, and one day I will.

I’m 21 from Casablanca and I recently graduated in Commerce and Marketing

I also use a wheelchair due to a physical disability

so Since graduating I’ve been trying to take my first step into the job market through internships and entry level opportunities So far the experience has been frustrating

Besides being a fresh graduate without experience I also have to think about things most applicants don’t Is the workplace accessible? Is there an elevator? Will I even be able to enter the building? Is remote work an option?

I’ve sent applications to different companies but most went nowhere Sometimes I don’t even reach the interview stage

Do Moroccan companies seriously consider accessibility when hiring? Are remote roles common enough to be a realistic path? And from what you’ve seen what routes usually work best for young graduates with mobility disabilities?

I’d like to hear opinions from people working in Moroccan companies, HR, or anyone familiar with the job market

I’m an agriculture student from outside Morocco, and I came across this while reading about agricultural exports. Honestly, I was kind of amazed by the numbers. Morocco reached $9.1 billion in agri-food exports in 2025, up 38% from 2020.

The 4.7 million tonnes of products exported also caught my attention. I usually think about agriculture in terms of farming and production, so seeing how much of it is connected to international trade made me look at Morocco’s agricultural sector differently. I also found the Generation Green 2020–2030 strategy interesting, especially the focus on expanding markets and supporting new exporters. As a student, I like seeing how agriculture connects with trade and economic development.

I’m definitely not an expert on Morocco’s agriculture, but this made me curious to learn more about the sector. I’m sharing the article here in case anyone else is interested in agriculture or global food trade too.

i went to traveaux publiques for driving licence, oh boy they are still using papers, you need to drop dossier dialk in paper, i saw in the employee's desk there was a mountain of dwasa, how is that even sustainable ? imagine if someday fire broke there or if the employee accidently spits coffee on the papers and it's all gone, i saw there like 3 people working and a huge line of people waiting in the queue

Also for the queue, bunch of people were just standing there waiting for their turn, it was all random chaos, why they don't use ticketing system to organize everything, this is so backwards

I am stunned, how do they even manage this, they could easily use an ERP and manage everything, replace papers with digital version, or even if they keep papers they could scan them to add them to the system, and use the ERP to easily manage everything

As someone who follows cars, I honestly didn’t realize Morocco’s automotive exports had reached this level. The $10.06 billion figure for the first half of 2026 really caught my attention. What makes it more interesting is that the growth wasn’t only about finished cars. The article says construction, wiring, and exterior components were among the main drivers.

A 17.4% increase is a pretty noticeable jump, but the product breakdown is what I found more interesting. Wiring especially caught my attention because it’s one of those things most people don’t think about when they look at a finished car. There’s a lot more behind the vehicle than the badge and bodywork we actually see.

The article also mentions that aeronautics exports increased by 19.3%, while some other sectors declined. So there’s more to the story than just cars.

There's a lot that I learned about Moroccan history as I was making it, so it wasn't a waste of time at least, a tiny bit of photoshop too.

Hello, several years ago I made a new best friend a morrocan living in spain who was taking a language program with me, I do not think he had a valid visa. An self educated and intelegent man we became great friends. But as if the way of life time passes and life distracts us and I have lost contact. I have been searching for my friend for several years now as we lost contact and his phone sim apperently was sold to another of his countrymen. All leads have come to dead ends and so I am looking for reputable detective agencies in Morroco. I will not disclose his information here for obvious reasons but if anyone can direct me a to a good detective i would be immensely gratefull.

Sharing a Glovo Morocco refund issue that may be useful to other users.
Two items were missing from a McDonald’s order: a cheeseburger and a Big Tasty sandwich. Glovo refunded only the cheeseburger.
When the missing Big Tasty was reported again, the system kept responding that the order had already been refunded, without addressing the second missing item. The responses appeared automated or AI-assisted.
There was also no clear option in the app to reach a human support agent.
So the order remains only partially refunded despite two missing items.

I applied for my passport precisely three weeks ago... The site shows the update (Passeport en cours de personnalisation) but it has stayed there for a week, it should've normally gone to Passeport Prêt a while ago. Sometimes when i go check it again, the update goes back to (Demande en cours de traitement)

I live in Temara (near the capital), it shouldn't take that long to issue a passport, no?

Last week I went to mo9ata3a, they told me that it can go up to 25 days since the moroccan passport is going to have some brand new features, and they also told me that they did not have my passport ready yet,

So at this point I'm lost, how much more should I wait for it to come out?
