1400 question
I just sold my older Goldwing and I'm looking at a couple listings for the 1400 California Touring model. They've always appealed to me. Are there any concerns I should be aware of?

So long as you know about the internal oil filter...they do make a kit to change it to external but just beware.

Thanks. I've had a couple bikes with the cartridge type filters over the years so not a biggy!

My California 1400 has external oil filter - you don’t need to pull the pan. You do need a special tool though.

Only criticism I have is that my California 1400 Touring won’t carry as much as a Goldwing.

Thanks, as it turns out I ended up with a Honda ST1100. Not quite the way I had it planned!
