Led UCLA to a pair of wins vs. Long Beach State during opening weekend 
Across two matches, Singletary combined for 25 kills on .385 hitting with 17 total blocks 
In Friday’s four set win, tallied 16 kills on .429 hitting, adding nine blocks. On Saturday, recorded nine kills adding eight more blocks and finishing with 13 points

Led the Washington blocking effort with 1.50 blocks per set as the Huskies opened with a 3-0 week at home to win the Husky Invitational, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team 
Set a career-high twice with seven blocks against San Diego State and IU Indy. Helped the Washington defense hold opponents to a combined .106 hitting percentage 
Set a career-high with 14 kills in the win over IU Indy, hitting .367

Bergen Reilly, Nebraska

Led the No. 1 Huskers to a sweep against UNLV and No. 2 Texas and was named the MVP of the Players Era Showcase 
The Nebraska offense hit a combined .315, with Reilly setting four different Huskers to at least 10 kills on the weekend. Reilly averaged 10.33 assists, 2.50 digs and 1.17 kills per set over the weekend 
Against UNLV, Reilly recorded a double-double with 32 assists, 10 digs, five kills and three blocks 
Against No. 2 Texas, Reilly tallied 30 assists, five digs, two kills, two service aces and a block

First weekend of volleyball action complete!

With a 4-6 record on Sunday (2 of our teams playing each other in non-con play) the Sun Belt finishes the weekend with a 16-22 overall record.

with the heavy GLP1 sponsorship so far this season. i am by no means anti-glp 1, just was not expecting to see such heavy advertising for it in college VB,
going so far as to have the “Ro player of the game”. just seems like an interesting choice to advertise to young athletes. not looking to seem hateful just wanted to know if anyone else has any thoughts or insights!

Pitt sweeps Wisconsin 25-13, 25-21 and 25-16. Wisconsin only hit 0.079 for the match. Pitt played well, but it kind of seemed that Wisconsin just punted on the match with lots of different players and combos being shuffled in and out and switching between 5-1 and 6-2. I'm guessing Wisconsin will improve tremendously, but Pitt was much better today.

Day two on the season for volleyball saw the Sun Belt go just 6-9.

Some tough competition in this opening weekend. Play continues today with 9 more matches on the docket.

For example, watching Spikes Under the Lights I heard SMU has a freshman who is 21 because she’s an international player. Is her class status going to be adjusted based on her age?

Can elliot come to his senses. Put back spears to her original position (OH) and stop with this mess of a rotation. Also, decide on who the starting setter is. The hitters arent connecting well with the constant change of pace with this 6-2.

wilburn went down with an injury during the colorado state game. Had to be carried off the court. Will be a huge loss for if she is out for some time.

Last year they ended up in P12 overall in the Big Ten missing the national championship.

Now, they're ranked #25, kept Clemente and added a good setter like Crownover. Could they improve and bypass the two Michigans and Illinois?

Sun Belt conference volleyball opened up the season by posting a 6-8 record. Georgia Southern & the Cajuns start their seasons today.
