I’m working on an early-stage idea for a new social media app, and before I start building it seriously, I want to understand how people actually use social media today — what they like, what frustrates them, and what they feel is missing.

Hi guys,

I'm 24 and currently working as a Full Stack Developer in a startup. I have almost 10 months of experience and my salary is 15k per month.

Since it's a startup, I'm working on many things. Apart from full stack development, I'm using Redis, RabbitMQ and other tools. If there's a new requirement, I have to learn how that tool works and implement it myself.

Because of tight deadlines, I also use Cursor AI provided by my company to complete the work faster. But at the same time, I'm trying to understand what I'm doing and learn from it.

My friend also has around 10 months of experience, but he works in an MNC and earns around 25k per month. He mainly knows Java and currently works mostly on testing.

So inga dhan enaku confusion.

I'm getting more exposure and learning different things, but my salary is only 15k. My friend is doing more limited work but earning 25k.

At the age of 24, which path is better in the long run?

Should I stay in a startup and focus on learning as much as possible for now, or should I start looking for a better-paying MNC/job?

Anyone who started with a low salary but gained good experience and later switched for a better package — please share your experience.

The thing is , i was using gemini to research for my project at the time I used to generate the physical components of the project...U can see the previous image and i was trying to generate image around half an hour 🤧.... after that I was angry replied like evrything is worng and Gemini start to generate the image , i felt gemini have some sense ,So it give me the perfect image 🙂.....I didn't except this and No-one can Except the image generated by gemini....it's CHAMELEON ....💀

We made 0xTamil, a Discord server and subreddit for people who are interested in learning and exploring low-level programming, especially C, Linux, OS development, compilers, embedded systems, and related topics.

We created this because we want to build a community around learning the fundamentals and understanding how things actually work. We are not trying to make another general tech community.

We have also put a lot of effort into our megathread, which is a guide for beginners who want to get into programming and eventually explore low-level topics. We try to provide a proper path instead of just throwing random resources at beginners.

Our community is still small, but there are people who are genuinely passionate about this stuff. Sometimes we have discussions, share resources, help each other, and hop into VC to talk about random low-level topics.

We also prohibit low-effort AI-generated content and vibe coding related stuff. The goal is not to blindly generate code and call it programming. We want to encourage people to learn the fundamentals, understand what they are doing, and actually explore things themselves.

Our megathread is one of the community projects we have been working on. In the future, we also plan to work on more community projects, including something similar to an Awesome Linux collection and other useful resources.

Some people might ask, "Yennada idhu, already niraya tech subs irukke?" 😭

Fair enough. But this is not meant to be another normal tech sub. We just want to build a small community of people who are genuinely interested in these topics.

I'm a fresher and It's been a year since i joined a service based company and im working in the genai field. Next 1 yr la I'm planning on to switch, since by that time i could learn quite a few things in my current company and could have 2 to 3 projects in my resume. Ipothiku i know langchain langgraph rag and multi agents and other things. To be frank, I'm not coding every single line in my project neither any of my senior colleagues, they have also admitted that they code by using llm and the organisation encourage us to use it for efficency. Even though the code is generate by llm i try to understand the code as much as possible so that if any issues comes up i now exactly which part of it causes the issue. This has been the case in other organization as well since i enquired abt this to my frnds. Now my question is when i try to switch and go for an interview, will they be asking me to write an entire code based on a use case or will theu be just asking me what are the concepts that i know from my techstack. If it was the concepts i could answer it with confidence but if they ask me to code every single line then its tough for me. I wanted to ask u guys how are they expecting in an interview currently especially for genai domain.

I have heard several times my seniors talk about "the job market is poor now" and i have always wondered how do you judge whether a job market is going good or bad ? 2. Hello Dev's , I am currently working on my final year project.

My project dataset is approximately around 6TB, I need to build a digital twin of the climate from 2016 - till now . And need to build a pipeline to collect daily data and synchronize with the prev data using an ensemble kalmann filter . Does anyone have experience with it ??
