Urgent 5yr old Milly is on 9/2 euthanasia deadline 🚨 Dallas, Texas 🚨 Dallas animal services
Please Comment share pledge foster adopt rescue
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BZHRiLmrV/?mibextid=wwXIfr
🚨MILLY SCHEDULED FOR EUTHANASIA 9/2 AT 11AM FOR MEDICAL🚨
💔 MILLY HAS A HUGE MASS ON HER LEG & SHE NEEDS SOMEONE TO GIVE HER A CHANCE.
Milly is a sweet, calm girl facing euthanasia because she needs medical care the shelter cannot provide. She has a massive soft-tissue growth on her right shoulder that is roughly 25 cm across. X-rays showed no evidence of bone involvement, & chest imaging did not show signs of metastasis.
The mass is suspected to be a tumor & needs surgical removal, with a surgical consult already submitted. Cytology was inconclusive, so there are still unanswered questions about exactly what Milly is dealing with. She also has a small ulcerated mass near her right hock.
Milly is incredibly easygoing. ❤️
She is calm, allows handling, enjoys being petted, & is easy to leash. On her recent outing, she loved getting outside to explore, walked nicely, & took treats gently. She isn’t particularly interested in playing right now, but that is hardly surprising considering the enormous mass she’s carrying.
In playgroup, Milly mostly chose to relax in the shade & explore at her own pace. She tolerated other dogs approaching her without a problem, even when they were more playful, but preferred to keep to herself.
Milly needs someone willing to DO something for her. She needs surgery, diagnostics, recovery time, & a safe place where she can finally be comfortable.
This sweet girl has so much more life left. Please don’t let a potentially treatable medical problem be the reason she dies.
Please share Milly everywhere!
⸻
Milly #A1297405

We were not able to meet Monica. If you’re interested in helping us meet the animals, please message us!
🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲:
Stray
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
8/31/2026: Monica was jumping up as I was attempting to leash her up. Once leashed I walked her out and she began to jump up on me several times, so much that it was hard for me to use my treats to redirect her. Once I walked her to the run, I left and came back with another dog. Once I removed the dog near her to take it back for her kennel she began to high pitch bark and was jumping up on the fence trying to escape the run. Once I came back for her she was highly overaroused and constantly pawing on my arms scratching me up as I attempted to leash. She was pawing and scratching so hard she made my radio fall as well as my treat bag. I had to close the fence and retry to leash. Once I did she bolted out and started jumping up at my face. I had to use the leash to redirect her. Appears to be very stressed out. I placed her into a new kennel due to another ACT mentioning she was fighting with neighbor dog in her kennel. As soon as she was placed in she began to vocalize.
8/30/2026: High energy dog. Can be dog friendly, had another dog in the next run and they ran opposite to each other a couple of times. Likes treats.
8/30/2026: Monica was standing on hind legs looking over the edge of her kennel and fighting with the dog next to her. Was also very overaroused on leash jumping up nonstop without redirection. Later, when a volunteer took her out for a walk she reported the same overaroused behavior and Monica also scratched both of her arms, leaving red marks. She showed the ACT in the row and also came to the office.
8/30/2026: Ms. Monica will be standing and jumping at the kennel door, becomes vocal, dilated eyes. Makes it hard to get the leash on her since she jumping at the door when your trying to open it. Once leash she forward pull hard on the leash, will start to jump against your body, treats do not work when trying to get her to get down. She becomes vocal in the runs as well, barking, high pitch whiny. Bring her back she was the same, over arouse at the door when trying to leash her, still jumpy against the body, did stop as you get half way to the door.
8/25/2026: This dog greeted me at the kennel door with a loose wiggly body, soft eyes, soft wagging tail. Easily leashed and walked outside with a semi loose leash. Easily leashed and returned to kennel.
8/23/2026: This dog greeted me at the kennel door with a gently wagging tail. She let me leash her and walked loosely to and from the potty yard. Inside her kennel she can be seen relaxing on her blanket throughout the day.
8/21/2026: Timid but wagging tail during work up.
🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
8/21/2026: Weighed 58.8 lbs. Intake condition normal. Vaccinated (DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies), dewormed, and given flea prevention. HW Negative.

Evaluation Notes:⚠️📅 (DATES HAVE BEEN REMOVED) 📅⚠️
Dog is laying in kennel upon approach with a tense and trembling body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked
tail. He displays sociability with me by coming over to greet with a trembling body, wide eyes, pinned ears and
a low wagging tail. He is easy to leash and walk out of kennel where he retreats back into kennel seemingly as dog bark at him. He is easy to pick up and carry outside. He is hyper-vigilant while outside and maintains space form other handlers with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a low tail while pacing in the yard.
He is observed attempting to dog out from under fence and is easy to redirect. Returning to kennel, he pulls heavily on leash.

Urgent 2yr old Koko is on 9/3 euthanasia deadline ‼️ NYC Shelter ‼️
Please Comment share pledge foster adopt rescue
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DsPHkRxZL/?mibextid=wwXIfr
TO BE EUTHANIZED 9/3/26 IN NYC
*** MEDICAL *** Attacked by another dog!
Koko is only two years old, and she has already endured more pain than any dog ever should. Three days before she was dumped at the shelter, she was attacked at a dog park — grabbed by the face, shaken, left with severe swelling and torn skin. And instead of rushing her to a vet, her owner — who bred her in the home — surrendered her for “no time.” In her most desperate hour, this gentle, social, affectionate girl was abandoned. Then, at the shelter, another dog broke loose and went after her kennel. Koko cannot catch a break.
And yet… she remains kind. She allowed all handling. She leaned in for soft touches. She warmed up quickly with treats. She walks beautifully on leash. She loves people, loves kids, loves baths, loves car rides. She is housetrained, playful, and sweet. Koko is everything good — and she is going to die for medical reasons that were never her fault. She needs an experienced, pet free foster or adopter who can give her safety, wound care, and the gentle love she has always given freely. Please step forward for her. She has suffered enough. Let her life finally turn toward kindness.
Experienced fosters/adopters, hurry and Message our Page for Assistance. Koko deserves to be loved, cared for, cherished.

SURGERY:
Temporary waiver for wounds
8/25/2026
Your newly adopted pet has wounds and the staff veterinarians are issuing a TEMPORARY waiver from the spay/neuter requirements of the City of NY. Follow up care at your regular veterinarian is recommended to ensure continued treatment through to the resolution of the issue. At the time of a full recovery you may choose to have your veterinarian perform the spay/neuter surgery, or make provisions to return the pet to ACC for sterilization.
