Hii guys I’m new to Reddit I had a friend of mine telling me I can find cool ppl here but I literally can’t post anywhere because I’m too “new” so I waited a couple of days and I still can’t post?? How old does my account need to be to post in communities because I check the rules and none of them tell me how old my account has to be so I’m confused and how does this karma thing work??

I want to post something on different subreddits, but it gets instantly (1 second) removed from reddit, not from a mod. But i got some karma and i don't break the rules... My account isn't shadow banned or anything

I was wondering if posting things in your own profile (not subreddits) may be a way to win some karma or get engagement if someone sees a comment you make and then they check your profile. Has this worked for you in the past?

is it possible for a community to be karma restrictive to karma earned specifically by commenting in that community, assuming you can comment in a karma restricted community

This may seem confusing and frustrating at first, but the rules are there to keep each community on topic, healthy, and a desirable place to be, and they need to be different for different topics; no one wants to be in a sub full of spam or off-topic content for example.

Is it because I have 2 karma…?

Hey everyone, so I'm kinda new to this site. Someone had pointed me to r/writing as a great place to interact with other aspiring writers. Problem though, I can't even post a comment on one of their "Monthly threads". I type and hit enter, it makes me believe my comment has been added, but then I check it in incognito and it's just not there. What do I do here? Thanks in advance for your help.
