I bought and read the first volume today and I really enjoyed it, I was excepting it to be mid, but it really wasn’t, however I don’t think I would enjoy it at all if I didn’t play the game first. Omori fundamentally is a game and it is meant to be played. This is fun if you’re familiar with the source material, but I can’t imagine someone who never heard of Omori reading it and enjoying it, it’s just very unlikely. It’s simply not a good adaptation, because any adaptation would fail. That being said I don’t mind the new story order and the additions like Sunny covering Aubrey’s ears are fun. I know I read only the first 4 chapters and I hope the manga won’t derail itself into oblivion in later chapters, but we’ll see, it’s really fun so far. Just wanted to share my thoughts here, anyone else has a similar opinion about it?

I made an automation using iOS’s build in shortcuts, everyday at 1 am it generates a number between 1 and 14, if the number equals 7 my wallpaper changes to Something staring at me. Then another automation runs at 6 am and sets my wallpaper back to normal. Now hopefully every two weeks I will get jumpscared if I’m using my phone when I’m supposed to sleep. Pretty fun!

I probably need to practice more front face drawings of the characters but I’m pretty happy with Sunny here

i really enjoyed omori and ddlc and i like games that are stories first games second. i like rpgs a lot with a strong emotional GOOD plot that would make you think or would crush you entirely. i mainly love stories and i want a game with a GOOD story just like omori i feel so empty now that im done. im a clean slate i haven't played anything other than omori and ddlc

I find the title funny, my friend strawbs (creator of oc named Hima) saw this on Google. Most likely because I made a joke off of it and it scraped information from my posts. So they could scrape this information, Thomas is a totally real and scrapped character. TOTALLY TOTALLY

Kel somehow gets knock out along side Sunny during the fight and SOMEHOW is able to be with Sunny during his visions in the ending?

Assuming this all takes place after the truth is revealed, what would be her reaction?

im playing the game for the first time and the entire menu screen changed i just re opened the game while i was in the black doors space thingy sequence i was not expecting this.

For those in the know (though nobody actually is), let me remind you that I’m working on a *fanfic*—one nobody asked for—based on *Omori* and titled *Omori.....?* (I couldn't come up with a decent title; I originally wanted to make a comic, not a fanfic, but this is what happened). I’d love to get some advice or any kind of help to make this fanfic better. Here’s that cute little bee again.

Made it months ago

Today was a special day for Sunny and friends... because they were going to the UK!

(Okay, wait, not that special then.)

It had been a 7 hour flight and Kel had been driving Aubrey nuts the whole way, as apparently he got to decide what was playing on the little screens.

He decided to watch the first movie he saw, which was The Bee Movie. Hero was glad he was sitting in front of them, where he could just ignore them and sleep (But of course he didn't, he's a med student, he is studying.)

Aubrey was also pissed that she couldn't take her nail bat on the flight as it was seen as 'illegal' and 'a threat'.

Unreasonable, right?!

Sunny spent most of the flight asleep. God knows how, you ask him.

Basil was next to him and just watched sunny sleep, which sounds questionable now I type it so I'll just say he looked at plants on his phone.

Anyway, once they arrived, they were starving as none of them had the money to pay for airport snacks (they had one bag of Doritos between them and Kel had a bottle of orange joe to keep him quiet (?)) so they went to the nearest Big Tesco.

They looked around. What could *possibly* fill them up for a reasonable price?!

Basil stopped beside a section labelled Meal Deal.

Since he doesn't really like announcing things, he just stood there until the others found him (which took a while because Kel was in the pet food aisle for some reason)

"Basil, you're a genius!" Kel said (from the pet food aisle because he just assumed Basil had found something.)

Sunny nodded in agreement.

"It looks alright, I guess." Aubrey muttered, swinging her nonexistent nail bat.

"ALRIGHT?! IT'S AMAZING!! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD!!"

Kel (who had finally arrived) yelled.

He would later discover there was no Orange Joe, a highly disappointing experience.

Basil was quietly looking at something he'd found. A pasta salad. Labelled, in bold black letters '**BASIL** Pesto and Semi Dried Tomato Pasta'

"BASIL!! NOOOOO!!" Kel screamed.

"O-okay. Right." Basil sheepishly put the container back.

Kel looked up at the price. "FOUR POUNDS TWENTY FIVE?! You're kidding!"

"I don't see what the problem is, I can give Kel four pounds no problem." Aubrey muttered (Again. I can't think of a better word.)

"Really?!" Kel's eyes lit up. He knew it had to be a trick but he can't deny MONEY.

Aubrey then continued to punch him on the shoulder four times.

"I should've seen this coming." Kel mumbled.

"If you're worrying about the price, it's okay!" Hero chipped in. "I signed up for a Clubcard, so it's much cheaper!"

"You thought of everything, huh." Aubrey replied.

"What are you choosing, Sunny?" Basil asked.

Sunny held out a plain cheese sandwich, apple juice and Walkers Ready Salted crisps. "These."

"Oh, that's nice! I-I'm not forcing you or anything, but..." Basil held out a bag of Flame Grilled Steak McCoys.

"These are supposed to taste like steak, and I know you like steak, so..."

"Thank you." Sunny replied. "I want these." Sunny decided to stick with Ready Salted.

Basil walked away, dejected.

Aubrey was in the corner, having chosen sweet chilli sensations, a chicken wrap and a bottle of plain water...

Kel went straight for the energy drinks. "Orange joe, orange joe, orange- what the hell is lucozade?! WAIT!! NOOOO!! THERE'S NO ORANGE JOE!!" he screamed, getting the attention of some random construction worker named Barry who was looking for some food after his shift.

"Bloody americans." He muttered.

Hero was busy choosing his snack. He wanted something nutritious, but then something caught his eye. "Hey! Maryland cookies. Like... Mari." A sudden sadness came over him, but he decided to push it down, He didn't want to spoil this amazing (debatable) trip, especially when he had planned all the logistics.

"Hero, are you alright?" Aubrey noticed him staring at the packet. "It's just cookies. Anyway, you probably want, like, a granola bar or something."

Hero decided it was best to say something "Okay, everyone! We've all chosen our meal deals, right? Let's go to checkout!"

Kel wanted to do the 'scanny thing' so everyone just rolled with it I guess.

It ran smoothly for the first couple meal deals, but the moment it got, for some reason, to Aubrey's, a smug, unfeeling, female British voice calmly said 'Please wait. Assistance is coming.'

"ASSISTANCE FOR WHAT?" Aubrey yelled. "It's a damn meal deal!"

'I said assistance is coming, shut up.' continued the self checkout.

"Honestly." Aubrey muttered. "What's wrong with a meal deal?!"

'Nothing, I just hate you.' replied the checkout.

"Let me try," said Hero. "It might work for me."

After grappling with the checkout, everyone finally sat down at some random bench with their meal deals.

"Is this what Lucozade tastes like?!" asked Kel "I hate it."
