I recently bought this glossier stretch concealer for no makeup makeup look and the formula is incredible. I bought the shade medium 2 and I don't know if it entirely works for me. If there is another shade that could be better for me in the glossier line, kindly suggest, that would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

Anyone had a chance to try this?
It looks more muted ir. I already have Mystic Eyes (a relic) and Tisse Rivoli and like both as fair muted yellow neutral olive

Hi lovely people of this sub!
Help a girl out!

I posted here recently asking for berry blush recs and got some of the most amazing recs.

Posting again to get your recs/help to find a good cream/liquid eyeshadow that looks like the pictures below. Very one and done.

For reference I am a pale cool neutral olive - so a lotttt of things pull muddy/orange very easily. For eyes I do have eyelids that are a bit pigmented compared to the rest of my face.

The creator in the video is wearing Lisa Eldridge liquid lurex in the shade Cressida. I was about to buy it but realised it leans quite champagne with gold shimmers so might not work.

Thank you all in advance ❤️

Discussion Blush and bronzer help!

I’m having a hard time finding makeup that fits my skin tone and blushes/bronzers regularly turn bright orange on me 😭

Good matches:
Lisa Eldridge t2.5 (a tad too saturated but still works)
Missha purple BB cream 21 (disappears)
About face F2Olive (a tad too saturated but still works)

First pic is dead of winter, last is after getting tanner this summer. All are in front of a window, no direct sunlight.

Any help is appreciated. I’m on the hunt for blush and bronzer that doesn’t look too warm or like makeup. Phytosurgeance condensate looked promising but turned orange on me 🥲

Am I even olive? Am I barking up the wrong tree 😭

Product Help Makeup application help

Upvotes

Hi! I’ve been on this subreddit for way too long without posting anything. Little background I am definitely olive (was leaning more towards cool than warm as gold jewelry makes me look yellow)
I m probably also desaturated or muted.
I’ve been trying to figure out makeup because it has never felt or looked right in my opinion. One thing I know and do regularly now to help is Blue/Purple color corrector. Bronzers usually look orange which makes sense as the red in the bronzer is neutralized by the green in my skin.
I stumbled upon Kackie’s video about opacity and saturation and rich and hollow colors and am left with a lot of questions.
So maybe someone more experienced can help me make sense of it. Basically she says that the more sheer a product is the more it will react with the colors in your skin. In an example of bronzers going orange on me this would mean that more sheer bronzers would show up more orange than more opaque bronzers. Now for us olives this makes it a bit confusing, I find, because the sheer formulas are supposed to be “more natural” because they would show up as more “skin native” due to the fact that the color is mixed with the color of my skin. But I have never felt my makeup look more unnatural than with normal bronzers on. It just looks ORANGE. So I am confused about this and maybe someone with more makeup and color theory experience can explain.
Thank you!
