Green onions and salt, nice and simple!

Post image

Growing up my grandpa would always offer this to me as a snack while my grandma cooked dinner. Pretty simple! Take the end of a green onion, lick it, stick it in a bit of salt, and bite.

As a kid I didn't appreciate it, but as an adult I always save these for a little snack while I finish cooking.

My dad did this as well and included radishes and fresh Anaheim chilies.

Haha large plate so the salt is a bit more spread out and the bites aren't so salty. To each their own though!
