Hardware Mod Connection issues a few months after switching to an IPS screen
It looks like I'm having some problems with the new screen. I tried reconnecting the cables but it still isn't working. For now I'm putting the old screen back on until I have time to troubleshoot the issue

Hi, I'm new here and don't have much of an idea about homebrew or plugins. I would like to know if there is an application to display my PSP screen on my PC over Wi-Fi since I don't have a cable! I have a psp 3000 with custom firmware

QUESTION Can you turn a PSP into a cyber deck/similar?
I have the PSP my dad got me since my thirteenth birthday and I’ve been getting into tech a lot recently. I was wondering if there was a way to use a PSP as a cyber deck/something similar or if it’s possible to connect other hardware and run Linux on it? I assume SteamOS would do wonders for PSP gaming!

Troubleshooting PSP 3000 drifting issues
I recently bought a PSP 3000, it’s pretty good, but the stick sometimes drifts to the right, sometimes not.
I tried the calibration, it helped a bit, but it still persists. Sometimes pulling to the right doesn’t even register until I flick it to the left and back.
I opened it up, pulled out the flat cable, it SEEMED a bit loose, but I guess it wasn’t.
Is my only chance buying a new one?
Thanks for any help

Troubleshooting PSP keeps turning off randomly; unable to pinpoint exact issues
A while back I posted issues about my PSP-3000 having issues with randomly turning off while in the middle of something, and I initially thought I had the problem solved; however, after some time, I found that the issues kept popping up.
Here's what's going on: After about 10-15 minutes of doing something, i.e. watching a video or playing a game, the PSP will just shut off. The power LED flashes green, then it turns itself off. When I turn it back on, it plays the boot-up jingle, back to the XMB, basically the same as turning it off and on again.
Since I know these technical issue sorts of posts tend to have a lot of questions tied to them, I'm going to mention what I've already done prior to making this post:
I initially posited that it was a battery problem, despite still holding a charge and being able to power back on after it turned off; however, despite replacing the battery, the issue seems to persist. Thinking it was another battery problem, I tried all of the solutions I saw both here and elsewhere (using something to hold the battery in place, making sure the battery lid is secure, removing the battery and trying to run the PSP purely off of the charger, etc.), but none of those seemed to solve the issue.
There have been times where I've been able to get a decent amount of use time from the PSP. I used it to watch a movie on one of my flights until the battery ran out, and it had the "battery's dead" warning before turning off, so I know for a fact that this thing works properly.
I'm running Ark-4 CFW (Recently learned that Ark-5 is a thing, but I didn't really see a reason to update just yet). Could this be the issue? I've looked back on CFW guides and whatnot, and it seems like I could've gotten something wrong, but this doesn't quite line up with the other problems I've had in the past. I've been running BatterySteve while making this post, and the runtime has been going on for several hours without turning off, so I guess that's another point of proof that this is working fine?
I'm very confused and frustrated with troubleshooting this thing. Any other pieces of advice would be massively helpful, as I've felt like I've reached the end of my rope.

Game Discussion Read below 😭
I made a video saying "back when 29 GB was enough" I genuinely forgot about memory prices back then and probably made people think I'm larping 😭 I'm stupid but not a larper.

Battery User issue or battery issue?
Bought brand new battery for my slim, because I had a fat battery before. (Got from a friend, was too busy to buy a new one.) Once I received the new battery, after putting it in the psp it didn't turn on, I can only use psp while charging it. I left the battery in the charging psp for 2 hours, nothing changed, as in the psp didn't even see the battery. Reviews under the battery said it works perfectly fine, for me it doesn't. Is it my fault or is it a faulty battery?
Worth mentioning, since I never had a slim battery before, the new battery feels like a more tight fit.
