Updating my PC

I AM AWARE OF THE DUST ON MY PC, IT WAS NOT IN USE FOR SOME TIME AND GOT A BIT DUSTY, I CLEANED IT SHORTLY AFTERWARDS

I have a PC from like 2019, very solid build which has served me well over the years. Unfortunately it is now getting very slow and laggy and I can barely play anything on it or study. I am not a complete idiot in terms of part knowledge but I am looking for suggestions and opinions on the change I intend to make.
The current parts of my PC:

CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G
GPU: Sapphire Nitro RX570 4GB
PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 650W RGB (newest part i bought probably 3 years ago cause the old one couldn’t keep up)
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte A320 (GA-A320M-H)
HDD: Western Digital 1TB WD10EZEX
RAM: The first piece is Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000mhz 8GB
The second one is: TeamGroup DDR4 2400mhz 8GB (ted48g2400c16bk)
The cooler is the basic one that goes with the CPU, my PC has no SSD and the case is really random I don’t even know the name. I have small budget but I want to make some updates that I am gonna list below:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
Cooler: DeepCool AG400 G2
SSD: TeamGroup MP33 1TB
I intend to play games such as ARK Survival Evolved, Counter Strike 2, Unturned, League of Legends, Grand Theft Auto 5 but mostly will use it for studying. I am open to any suggestions for updates and will not put a specific budget although I want the new parts to be budget friendly because I am not currently ready to put big money into my PC.

Ryzen 5600 is an absolutely fantastic budget CPU. Got one for my wife to replace a 3400G. I slapped on a Thermalright Assassin Spirit and temps are great. It was a cheap enough upgrade and gave this PC another couple years of life. Well worth the money in my opinion.

This, though I'd say keep a stock AMD cooler on it given the budget motherboard, non VRM heatsink design. Even though the CPU heatsink does heat the air, it still makes VRMs run far cooler than without direct airflow. Having them run hotter will shorten VRM lifespan and the system is far from new already after all.

This is good advice if on a really tight budget. The AMD Wraith cooler is actually pretty decent and can cool the 5600 adequately. I was dicking around with coolers on my office PC with a Ryzen 5500 and ended up just going back to the Wraith. It's quiet, it does its job well and it comes with the CPU so it's basically free.

That 5600 is a no-brainer for this upgrade. I did basically the same swap from a 2200G and it was like getting a whole new machine.

You really need to get that SSD in first though, even a cheap one will make the system feel way faster in daily use. The mixed RAM sticks are probably holding you back too, try to match them if you can find another 3000mhz stick used.

I was thinking about the RAM too, the guy that was fixing my PC and the past ordered it and said that there mustn’t be problem but I am probably going to get another Corsair 3000mhz on the future. Also I am gonna get the SSD and the CPU together so yeah.

Hey, check your BIOS! You might be able to manually set the RAM clock speed to 3000 there.

OP can (if the option is available) run the RAM at 3000MHz manually in BIOS. I have a Frankenstein PC as my office/gaming setup and it's got mismatched RAM (2666 and 2733) that I just manually set both to 3200 in BIOS. Might not be supported on OP's motherboard, but it might.

R5 5600 should come with a stock cooler. No need to get an aftermarket one. If it does not, reuse the stock cooler you have on PC now. Just needs to be cleaned. Clone the 1tb HHD to the SSD. Unplug the HHD and test / use. If you have no issues, erase the HHD and reclaim the space for files. Save for a better GPU, Nvidia 3000 series, or AMD 6000 series budget friendly. Power supply may need to be changed to accommodate a new GPU's power requirements though.

I was thinking about updating to RX 6600 8GB but I can not seem to find any on the market so
I thought RX 7600 would be a good alternative. I might not get a new cooler for now, thanks. I think about using the HDD to store some files and I plan to put the games I intend to play along with Windows on the SSD

Overall great upgrades, its just that you should not need a new cooler for that cpu unless you live in a usually hot country. Other than that seem quite well versed.

I personally really like the X cpu from amd so I’d recommend getting the 5600X but to save a few buck by getting the non X isn’t a bad idea.

For a cpu cooler I’d recommend something a lil bit bigger if it can fit, the peerless assassin 140 or 120se, I’ve used both I many builds and recommended it to a bunch of people and no one ever complained about anything with it, we don’t have deepcool here so I can easily price check sadly.

I’d recommend if possible to wait on your ssd, right now because of the rampocalypse the prices don’t make any sense for everything that has memory, I was forced to to buy a few storage devices this year and it really sucks so hopefully you can until everything gets better, in that better world I’d recommend something similar but with a good brand name, team group aren’t bad or anything just personally I rather spend a bit more on my drives and be safe. Something like Samsung, Kingston, patriot, are all pretty good brands that have cheaper options that aren’t bad by any means, just some of them aren’t the newest fastest gen but honestly you don’t really need those for gaming.

I’d also recommend a better gpu, something like a rx5600xt would pair really well with your future cpu.

This combo shouldn’t be too demanding on your psu so you wouldn’t need to buy a new one or anything and should basically be plug and play.

I also thought about buying the Kingston NV3 but I cannot find it on reasonable price. The cooler here in Bulgaria is around 20€. I will definitely look forward to buying a new GPU.

Swich on your list the cpu cooler. Get one Thermalright Peerless Assassin or Phanton Spirit 120 (litlle better) and you will have a cpu cooler for your life. Go for 2 x 16gb ddr4 3200mhz (lowest CL possible). If you have money RTX 5070 12GB ( don't go to 5060) or AMD 9070, or a used RTX 4070 jn good condition and you will pc for a bunch of years. If you also don't want to replace thermal paste go for Arctic Silver 5 and you will good for years but be carefull to aply it because is electric conductive. Aply a very very thin layer thrue the surfice of the cpu, thinner then sheet of paper or use a "Real honeywell PTM7950.

Is very important to have also dust filter in your pc case, have a good air flow and clean the pc one's and wille, to much dust make the temperatures get highter and that's kill your hardware. Go for Asus or Gigabyte.
