Pc wont POST, yellow dram light is on, has "C1" on mobos 2 digit display before it restarts itself and attempts to boot again

I have tried:

Reseated ram and tried all slots - both one and two sticks
Checked cable connections
Cleared CMOS
Q-flashed mobo with latest BIOS
Checked mobo pins and CPU
reinstalled AIO with less pressure

Not sure what else to try, whats are the odds i need different ram?

Motherboard - GIGABYTE Z890 AERO G Intel Core Ultra

Cpu - Intel Core Ultra 7 Desktop Processor 265K

Memory - KLEVV FIT V DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz

Storage - Silicon Power 2TB UD90 NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 SSD

Gpu - GIGABYTE AERO NVIDIA RTX 5070

A single pin is bent backward. Is this an easy fix or should I avoid an attempt to straighten and realign? Any advice appreciated

I am working on a custom 3d printed case and i was womdering if any of you have experience with itx boards and heavy air coolers. I feel like there is some slight bending going on. Is this a problem?

So I recently built my new pc, performance, temps etc are fine. PBO +200, CO -20, slight GPU OC, all stable, tested with cine, OCCT and dozens of hours of gaming.

32gb DDR5 CL36

2tb 990 M2 drive

Corsair 1000w Gold PSU .

However I noticed that there is some kind of buzzing/static/surge kinda noise. Not sure if it's happening under load as headphones are on and I'm into the game, with fans also little higher potentially drowning it out, however when I'm desktop, I've noticed when any activity occurs , i.e. whenever I scroll the mouse or browse windows folders etc the noise occurs for that exact moment I'm scrolling or clicking etc, it doesn't persist before or after. This leads me to believe it's potentially CPU quickly spiking in power when activity occurs? Is this normal? Just something annoying I have to deal with? Is this what they refer to as coilwhine?

In the video i have shown that the noise occurs whenever i scroll in this example.

So, I’ve never built a PC before and usually get my friend to build them for me, but I decided I wanted to change my CPU myself. The problem is that I can’t seem to get this metal tower in because of the springs, which are making it difficult for me to lock it into place. How do I properly install it? Is it okay to not be gentle with it? It tilts every time I try to insert it into the holes, and it’s genuinely frustrating.

Sup leddit. Recently got a psu upgrade but I am nervous to install it. It’s a msi mag a1000g pcie5 and I got it bc of a high tierlist rank, but the 12vhpwr pins seemed a bit uneven and the 24pin mobo cable is SUPER uneven and some of the pins wiggle when I touch the wires. This has gotta be a qc issue right? Would yall run these cables or just return it

Hi everyone,

I have been having trouble with booting my PC on. I thought maybe there was issues with my wiring and the case, so I took out the motherboard. It is a Gigabyte Eagle Z890 and the cpu is an Intel 270k+.

I laid it on my original package and connected the ATX cable and the two CPU cables to my RM750e PSU. I also connected the FNPANEL cable from the case and tried to turn on the PSU and case. No luck, nothing turned on. I even tried to take out the FNPANEL cable and connect the pins with a screwdriver for a jump start. No luck either.

Am I doing something wrong or is my motherboard fried? Thank you for all your help.

It turns on strangely powering up for a couple seconds then turning off and back on but I can’t get a display I tried the hdmi/display port and it’s not a vga i think, any help is appreciated.

I have a PC from like 2019, very solid build which has served me well over the years. Unfortunately it is now getting very slow and laggy and I can barely play anything on it or study. I am not a complete idiot in terms of part knowledge but I am looking for suggestions and opinions on the change I intend to make.
The current parts of my PC:

CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G
GPU: Sapphire Nitro RX570 4GB
PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 650W RGB (newest part i bought probably 3 years ago cause the old one couldn’t keep up)
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte A320 (GA-A320M-H)
HDD: Western Digital 1TB WD10EZEX
RAM: The first piece is Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000mhz 8GB
The second one is: TeamGroup DDR4 2400mhz 8GB (ted48g2400c16bk)
The cooler is the basic one that goes with the CPU, my PC has no SSD and the case is really random I don’t even know the name. I have small budget but I want to make some updates that I am gonna list below:

Cooler: DeepCool AG400 G2
SSD: TeamGroup MP33 1TB
I intend to play games such as ARK Survival Evolved, Counter Strike 2, Unturned, League of Legends, Grand Theft Auto 5 but mostly will use it for studying. I am open to any suggestions for updates and will not put a specific budget although I want the new parts to be budget friendly because I am not currently ready to put big money into my PC.

Picking up one of these am4 chips to maximise my am4 build and life cycle.

Noticed its anniversary edition with a Carbice ice pad thermal pad so can be used without paste. I'm using a Peerless Assassin 120se cooler which keeps the temps pretty good on current CPU.

Never saw these pads or used them before. I can see benefits as no paste everywhere or needing replaced.

Anyone used one or have opinions on them from use?

I just moved house, so all my stuff was transported (not greatly protected) but Only happens on one of my monitors so I know it’s not my GPU, is there any way to fix this?

Its worse in the Bios, but this happens while just using it normally as well.

Would it be a bad idea to use this 2016 optical drive in my new gaming pc? Is it even compatible? It’s from an old pc and the new mobo I’m using is an msi pro B850-V Evo.

I plan to upgrade CPU to R7 9800X3d and I purchased THIS cooler on amazon. I wanted to know if it will be sufficient enough to cool 9800X3D. I prefer the top-down cooler just for airflow purposes. i currently have a chimney style cooling setup with just 2 be-quiet! 140mm fans exhausting out the top.

i'm open to recommendations and suggestions, and yes i know I can fit a tower cooler but how would I implement that with chimney-style airflow?

The original list had ASUS GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Dual OC 16GB GDDR7 DLSS4, but my friend told me to choose ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 9070 16 GB. So i did it.

For this build I really wonna stay with Hyte y70.

I'm sorry if i maked some typo or writed something wrong, english is just my second language.

I just built a new case and i forgot how to connect the GPU and the CPU to the PSU.

I have:

- 4090 to 3x 8 pin adapter
- 2 cables which have 8pin on one side and 2x 8 pin on other
- 1 cable which has an 8 pin on both sides

I tried with the cpu having the direct one but then the gpu didnt start because it was powered by only 2 8 pins on psu side. im a bit scared and dont want to fry anything. Can someone tell me how this needs to be connected? Thank you so much!

I just built my first pc and got the bios set up but now when I turn it on after a bit it gets stuck on the logo with a white led then when i power it off then on again it works like normal. when i look up the symptoms i was told to turn off fast start up but i don't know how to do that nor what it does and if it would fix it.

my mother board is a ASRock X870E Challenger WiFi ATX Motherboard

Edit: after some digging and reading online I found out my bios was outdated and I updated and going to test to see if it happens again

My PCs been stuttering recently and i noticed the cpu keeps spiking. Today it reached 90.

I was able to stream on Discord while recording on OBS, while playing a game at ultra settings and have other applications open with no problem. Now i have the game on only and it stutters.

Could this be a pump failure?

Set up:

H150i ELITE LCD - cooler

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090fe - gpu

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X - cpu

ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI - motherboard

It is a new build and the mother board is a B650M pro rs wifi, and everything seems to work good once on. The CPU and RAM lights stay on, and it only boots with lights off after ~15min if i turn it off and on again.

Now, when first building it I would unplug it and such and it would boot fine before windows, but that was over the weekend so it wasn't cut from power for >15hrs then either. After reading that the capacitors on the PSU could just not be warm enough then it gets stuck, and learning that Windows fast start could cause it, i stopped unplugging it and turned fast start off.

Note that I noticed the problem the morning after windows setup was done, so it was prbly only about 6-8hrs of coldness then, and IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY when leaving it unplugged for that same amount of time with fast start off it booted cold(it may not have been cut from power)

It works good from warm start, haven't had a problem with for a couple of weeks, but I also haven't tested cold after like a dumb dumb. I have a little over a week to return parts so any input is appreciated. I'm going to unplug it tonight and see what happens again after work.

EDIT: Also I recently read that mobo could not be making contact with ram properly before warming up due to thermal expansion, or dead cmos battery, or cpu cooler tightened too tight. This is my first build so I have no idea. Also, before even putting mobo in case it would start very quickly(after realizing ram wasn't all the way in, so maybe bcs warm? note windows was not installed at this time) note i haven't tried anything in this paragraph

I've been having issues with my PC for a few months now where the drivers hang and the PC grey screens (audio playing in background) then restarts with Kernel error 141 etc. I had also sent my 7900XT to RMA for these issues plus one of the fans spinning at max RPM randomly but they couldn't replicate these faults when benchmarking so I had it returned to me.

In the last few weeks my PC has also stopped booting and shows a white VGA light on the motherboard until I restart a few times to get it to boot. As a result I purchased a 9070XT to replace my 7900XT to see if that fixes the issues but the 9070XT won't boot no matter how many times I restart and if I reinsert the old GPU it boots fine. I was hoping I could get some ideas.

I'll try resetting the BIOS after I get home from work but that's about all I can think of. Thank you.

Hello , if I wanted to place lian li a3 in a horizontal position like shown in the build in the pics which I found on reddit , would the aio be better mounted in the same position shown in the pics or positioned on the right side ( above motherboard + gpu ) and works as exhaust fans ?

i know its a used pc but i already bought it and its on the way, ill admit it was an impulsive choice but i couldnt pass up the 32gb ddr5 ram

So I'm trying to enable secure boot to play cod, but everytime i go into my bios and enable it it gives me an error "Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup". I can't find a way around this, everytime i get it to finally load into windows, it just says its enabled; not active. this has been frustrating me i have watched like 10 tutorials and nothing has helped me, Ive had this since i got it on christmas 2025. any help appreciated.
